I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately came out really disappointed. I came in with a very specific idea for my cut and a video as well, with a certain length of curtain bangs and no thinning (so that my hair would be just as thick at the bottom). I showed this video to Melek yet she did my cut with thinning and didn’t do the layers that I wanted; I did ask her to fix my bangs, she refused to do so until the owner intervened! This is incredibly disappointing as it took me a long time to grow my hair out and the cut wasn’t cheap either ($80). Wouldn’t recommend this place unless maybe you’re seeing one of the other hairstylists.

Today I went to Salon Citi for a color correction and balayage. I had a horrible hair DIY disaster and was very scared that it couldn’t be fixed, but Melek saved my hair and did it beautifully! I had such a wonderful experience — Melek was lovely and the staff were very attentive, even offering me water and Turkish coffee. Very pleased with my hair!

Tried this salon and the haircut wasn’t terrible but there was no hospitality or sense of customer service. The employees seemed eager to get the haircut over with and overall unwelcoming. Would not recommend or come back again.

This is the first time I tried this place , they were absolutely great , they did Baliage on my hair , Ismael is very talented and did absolutely great , I would recommend him

They are amazing people, especially Melek, who did a fantastic job dyeing my hair. I was so nervous about the result, but she did the best work. You just have to trust her! I'm so thankful.

Highly recommend! Ismail has been cutting my hair for almost 20yrs now. I never go to anyone else for hair. He is very talented. The staff is also very pleasant.

They are amazing.
I have been with them 3 years till now. They are the only hair salon I trust.
Even I color my hair but it never looks damaged always looks healthy and beautiful despite my hair is so thin.
The staff are so friendly. I highly recommend this salon.

Second time going there and wanted to do something fun... LOVE the way it turned out! Melek listened to my concern about being too much a fake red look and did wonders! Love going to her!

Today, I went in for a color change and let me tell you, Melek did an absolutely phenomenal job with my hair! I was a bit nervous that it wouldn't turn out the way I wanted, but she exceeded my expectations. From having black hair to now sporting a beautiful chocolate brown shade, she worked her magic in no time. If anyone is looking for a color change without any damage, I highly recommend Melek. She's truly the best in the Fairfax area!

For those of you looking to get your teen boy a perm, Melek is who you need to see. She did an amazing job and my 13yo is extremely happy. I was definitely worried how it would turn out, but it exceeded my expectations.

Ismail Buber does a FANTASTIC job on cut, color and styling. I followed Ismail Buber from his days working at PR Partners salon in Reston Town Center, and I'm so glad to be able to go to him now at Salon Citi. I am constantly complimented by people - even strangers - by the job Ismail does on my hair and I couldn't be happier with his work!

Ismail has been my hair colorist and stylist for over 2 years. He does an amazing job with colors and highlights/lowlights. The longer you see him, the more depth and colors he can add to your hair! The salon overall is nice and staff are pleasant. Ask for a Turkish tea or coffee during your visit. Color and cut usually require an appointment beforehand, but I've observed they can accommodate most walk-ins for men's cuts or women's blowouts.
