On 11/18/2023 there was only one pharmacist working. She answered the phone at 4:30 pm and asked if we could call back in 30 minutes because she was busy. We called back about 10 times and no answer. My wife headed over there while I continued to call and got there at about 5:20 pm. When my wife arrived she saw that there was not even one person in line and the pharmacist was sitting and listening to music with one headphone in her ear (not picking up the phone). I called two more times (my wife could hear the phone ringing) and the pharmacist finally answered my call and told me to hold and then helped my wife.

I live right in between Safeway and Wegmans. Wegmans is just about all around superior to Safeway - for the most part. However, one thing I truly appreciate about Safeway is certain people who work there. They brighten my day whereas Wegmans, albeit friendly staff and helpful are just too pre-occupied with the vast crowd of people bombarding them that I can't seem to get that personal touch and attention to detail I've become accustomed to at Safeway. 3 staff members come to mind right away - DOROTHY! Kim & Randy - all 3 are fantastic people and as long as they're working there I'll continue to snub Wegmans. Can you remember when youve been on a first name-basis friendship with staff at a random business?! These 3 put me in a good mood, it's a joy to see them every time I'm there. I've also brought by friends and family members who've had the nicest things to say about them. Props to whomever hired these 3 fine employees - and more importantly genuinely decent people who've somehow managed to make grocery shopping enjoyable.

I like getting texts to let me know my Rx is available. Recently I when was to pick up 3 months of my Rx, they switched pill manufacturers on me, and only put 1 month in the bag. I was willing to try a new brand, but the missing 2 months was a problem. However, that was easily rectified with a phone call and I was told they made a note about it.Then I was too busy to grab the Rx, and after 2 weeks went back with some new knowledge: the new pills I got are difficult for me to swallow, and I've been without my Rx for 3 days already because of it. So I showed up asking for the remaining 2 months, AND for them to switch it back to my previous brand of pills.THEY DID, AND IT WAS A SIMPLE PROCESS.The staff were friendly and easy to communicate with. It took time because they had to verify I really didn't get all 3 months at my first pickup, but the process was smooth when I expected difficulties from all the stacked circumstances.While I won't be using this pharmacy for vaccines anymore (long wait times, even with an appointment) I think they've been overall quite good for Rx pickup the last few years.

This is a review for the pharmacy. It's a busy day today at the store, but Ali provided exceptional customer service and went out of his way to help us. I'm grateful for his help and impressed with his professionalism.

The most incompetent, disorganized "pharmacy" you can use. Never make the mistake of calling them because they'll never be able to locate your prescription. Please save yourself and use any other location.

Maybe have more than 1 person work the pharmacy. Just a thought! My scheduled (not walk-in) flu shot took over an hour to complete.

Worst Pharmacy. No one answers the phone. It always goes to voicemail. You can not leave message as the voicemail is full.

I came into this store tonight to pick-up one of their $7.00' tuna sandwiches. I ended up leaving with the tuna sandwich, as well as, a twelve pack of pellegrino water. They have a pretty decent selection of pre made sandwiches, but I'm a creature of habit, and I really like tuna because of the health factor. I've been to this store on several occasions, and I've always had a decent experience. I have never witnessed any shortages of items, at least for the things that I buy. The store is tidy and clean as you would expect. I paid for my items with the self checkout lane, so I didn't have an interaction with an employee. The sandwich is delicious as always, and a great value!

The pharmacist beside the fact she is blasting her prayer chanting at the place of work, she is showing a very poor and an attitude that is just very rude and unprofessional towards the costumers. Not towards me but another costumer in front of me her behavior and aggression was just unnecessary. It was way too obvious she did not like someone with a darker skin tone, or just maybe Indians.As a foreigner herself she should know the feeling of discrimination to avoid doing that towards anyone in general! Customer was handling her so kindly and calmly Instead of her handling such situations!If you are listening to a prayer wouldn't you think any sort of such behavior is just forbidden no matter what the believes might be? She is eager to show everyone her beliefs by blasting it so loud but she cannot follow it's teachings?!!HR could be more effective at times and it could have a better training and teaching helping her to know how to deal with costumers.Someone needs to look into this and find a solution for it as many of us do not want to witness what happened as it was not proper.You are more than welcome to contact me if you run into any questions that I can answer.

Safeway in Virginia is almost never the highest quality of grocery store, but this store easily takes the cake for the worst. The meat department often is under stocked and the selection absolutely sucks in every way, not to mention it smells far worse than any other meat department I've ever entered. I swear I can walk in on any day and find items that are either opened or expired. The cheese coolers look like there's a black goop or mold plastered across the black wall that would make any and all cheese available unappealing, if it was even stocked with enough cheese to buy in the first place. Every time I enter, there are never ever enough cashiers and lines form all the time. While the Starbucks is very nice, clean, and new, I swear they need maybe 50 more employees just to keep up with the volume of orders. If you are going there for a quick morning coffee, you may have to sit down for a minute cause whoever is in charge of hiring is utterly incompetent. The men's bathroom is a disaster and seems a decade out of date, despite clear spending on updating unimportant fixtures to "beautify" an already disaster of a store. Every employee I interact with seems perfectly fine and friendly, I always get the best service, I just can't understand how the management is so disorganized as to prioritize small details over the failing health standards throughout. I've worked in grocery stores before and we never would've gotten away with that standard when the health department arrives to inspect. I don't know if they just don't have a store manager or if the store manager is stingy or what but my god hire more employees the environment and standards suck and are straight up unsanitary. Never buy anything fresh from this store i swear. The wine section and floral sections are beautiful and it would be a crime to not commend that, and the Starbucks and bakery are very nice quality, but the major bulk of the store could not be any worse.

We've used this pharmacy for years. The pharmacists are knowledgeable, informative and always willing to take the time to answer questions. The staff is patient and attentive and go the extra mile to make the experience as efficient as possible.
