Made a purchase, I didn’t have my ID for children’s cold medicine which that’s my fault whatever. Manager comes and overrides it, cool. I look at the screen and see the cashier scanned a thermometer 3 times yet I had ONE. I politely pointed that out and she said “no I didn’t” tries to tell me “look see this means it was taken off” my total was higher than it should’ve been and I mentioned it and she’s like, you’re wrong, look, this is the correct total. There’s people behind me so I didn’t argue…
I pay and as I’m walking away the receipt states “2 thermometers” again, she scanned it three times but only took off one. Which I pointed out and she refused to listen…I then ask the manager for help because obviously I’m getting nowhere with the help from their cashier. He gets an attitude and is all huffy and puffy like I’m inconveniencing him by asking him to return me my money.
I paid with Apple Pay and I told him that, he said “we can’t return unless you have the card.” I said, “I think it’s in the car, I can go grab it.” Again he looks at me like I’m ruining his shift and says “is store credit okay?” I said “yeah that’s fine” he then says (before I even finish what I’m saying) “cash okay?” I was like “it’s whatever it all spends the same.” He grabs the cash out and slams the drawer and walks away.
Absolutely ridiculous. Rude employees.
If you can’t put a smile on while working customer service then maybe you shouldn’t do that job. Also, if you can’t accept that you’re wrong then maybe you shouldn’t be working a register and toying with people’s money.
Yeah it was not that much money but how many times does this happen that people don’t catch because they are in a rush or simply not paying attention?

This place is clean and usually not too busy. Its a convenient place when getting gas for a drink and a snack.

It’s located in the Pan Am Shopping Center at Lee Highway and Nutley Street. The fuel station is clean, well lighted, and well maintained, and always busy, and easy to get in and out. There’s a small convenient store in the middle for drinks, cigarettes, snacks and other items that you may need for trips. The prices are very competitive after Wawa opened nearby.

Prices are decent, slightly higher than several places nearby unless you are getting cents off from shopping at Safeway. Convenient to I66 and Merrifield, and much better prices than there. At least one of the pumps is offline surprisingly often. If you are using a credit card or that offers higher cash back for pay-at-the pump with caveat that "exclusions apply", you may not get that bonus. I do not, eve though the POS is 'Safeway Fuel Pump." Check your statement. I buy only when I've got significant Safeway points.

It’s a fine gas station but is pretty old and the prices are never great. It is nice to have with the car rental so close by but I only go here when I must and there is no other option. There is also not much shade so you will be standing in the sun a lot. I would not recommend going if you have a choice.

Perfectly fine gas station. Can get cents off per gallon by shopping at the grocery store. Terminals were updated during covid so much newer. Air is available as well, for a fee.
