The lady drawing my blood had headphones in with music blasting. She asked for name and date of birth and I had to correct her 10 times, I wonder why… felt very uncomfortable with her taking blood from me for this reason.

Walkin waited 2 1/2 hours. It wasn't even busy. They said we have to till appointment person first.4 people came at 1:00 included me.Its ridiculous!! There is gap hour between appointment person!!Why didn't they just called???Only one person work!!!!Omg!!!!As result waited till 3:30, and the technician said thereis no guarantee to see all walkin patients. All walkin patients wasted our /their time and they all left unHAPPY. I was so angry!! the way she said "She so busy I I can't to see." And lab carrier will pick up at 4:00 so I don't know if I'm able to see you.Than you dont see walkin patients?"I only follow up up appointment patients "Have as lot of back to do!!You need to make/ should make appointment!Wow!!Than they should get rid of sign in walkin patients.Besides, she didn't see me, but late walkin patient!!She is so rude, do not know policy,no respect!I can't even contact manager or supervisor!So mad!!! Not coming here!!(I should I got her name) .so disrespect!!!

The lab test was smooth and quick. Friendly staff. However...next to impossible to park. The rear lot is closed and parking is unavailable. I needed to park on the street a few blocks away. Never again.

Carly was my phlebotomist and she was very friendly and accommodating. I had to get a lot of blood drawn and she made the process so easy for me, even enjoyable! I would definitely come back to this location because she was great. Thank youuuuu!

As others have said, do anything you can to NOT go on a Saturday, especially if you don’t have an appointment. I just needed to drop off a specimen and was here for two hours—also be sure if you’re dropping a specimen off to clarify that with an employee as soon as you arrive, as I was pushed to the bottom of the list of patients because employees were confused by what I was here for. I don’t really blame the employees, it seems to be a much larger issue with understaffing and general disorganization. Weekdays are significantly better in this regard! Be cautious with your plans and don’t schedule anything for a few hours (or like me, you will have to cancel plans). Also, to my fellow disabled patients, be forewarned—seating is quite limited on Saturday and I ended up on the floor for most of the time I was there.

I went for the blood test today at Main street Location in Fairfax. The lady was very rude, could not speak or understand English, could not understand the Doctor’s Order. Asked for payment $1.77 although I have the Federal Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance. I asked to send me a bill but she demanded I pay her $1.77 . Please hire someone who is professional, competent and can speak and understand English as well as doctors orders.

While quest diagnostics has greatly improved their check in when an appointment is made, the quality of service by the staff was extremely poor today. The blood drawer was unable to read a printout by the Doctor she was unsure what she was doing and she had to read all information several times. she also asked me for money upfront which is never done at quest. She did not ask me for my date of birth and was extremely rude.

I scheduled an appointment and when checking in appointment “couldn’t be found.” No front desk representative working. Only one phlebotomist working. Ineffective staffing for a busy location.

They were able to see me twice in one day for 2 separate tests for my employer. I appreciate that. Staff is overall very nice. There is a bit of a wait even if you have an appointment, so be prepared for that. I didn't really mind, though. Overall, great service.

I go the Quest on Main St. Fairfax every couple of months for blood test. Staff is always friendly and polite, wait times are never long, and my results are available on the Quest website quickly. No complaints.

First time going to this location today. For those that had bad experiences, here is what I did. I scheduled an appointment on a Monday morning to avoid any rush. When arriving the parking was very limited but the check in process was quick and easy at the check-in kiosk. There will not be any person at the desk because they are inside all the time. The test started on-time and the technician, Kayla, was friendly and accurate in handling the screening test. I'm guessing folks that don't make appointments probably have a tougher time. The appointment system does not send emails or texts as reminders as far as I know, so don't expect that much.

Just. Wow. I thought the reviews were exaggerating about how awful this place is but they don’t even begin to cover it. Never have I met such an incompetent and rude staff. They don’t even have a basic understanding of what it means to provide healthcare. My experience at this location was nothing short of medical negligence. Horrified, shocked, and blown away. They shouldn’t even be in business, their business cards are fake and have no information.
