I will start off by saying "The team is awesome" they arrived on time and right from the start they were moving and taking care of things. Price is fair and guys are hard work!
I recommended them, totally reliable.

This was the worst first mover experience. My parents encouraged me to use this company because they have had great experiences and have also recommended them to their friends. I was quoted for a certain amount and ended up getting charged $116 more than I was told. My parents who moved one house to another house, with more items paid less than what I was charged yesterday. The movers got “lost” so I got charged extra time for that, they put my TV in a box let’s charge an extra $15 for that (would’ve brought it over myself if I knew I was getting charged), they wrapped up my furniture- charged me more for that (didn’t ask them to do that), movers only had to move items from one set of stairs to the first level of my new apartment. Highly disappointed in my experience with this company. I will never recommend them to anyone. I called right after this encounter and still have not heard back from them. Talk about great customer service!

I am so grateful to Buttar and his crew that assisted me on my move. I had a complicated situation because most of my things were going in storage and some things were going in a U-haul. Great communication, great service, extremely satisfied!

I've used NewRay to move three times now, every time they're phenomenal. By far the lowest rates in the area with the hardest working team, the staff always make sure everything is well packed and protected against any scuffs and scratches. NewRay will continue to be my go-to movers in the DC area.

Cody and his team went above and beyond to make our move seamless. It was a long day of both packing and moving, but they always had a great attitude. They never said no when I asked for something to be moved - again - lol… We will definitely use them for any future moves! Highly recommend…

These guys were awesome. My first time hiring movers and I didn’t know what to expect but they made the day go so smoothly. I was scheduled for an afternoon slot and they ended up coming an hour early (after asking) which was super helpful for me. They were polite, efficient, and the price was great. I will absolutely use them when I have to move again in a few months.

This company is really a winner. From the intake process to the actual day of the move everything was clear and smooth. The movers were highly experienced and careful with my furniture and boxes. They were polite and didn’t made it easy to get through the moving nerves.
I highly recommend this moving company.

I had a great experience with NewRay moving. They were the most cost-effective option that I found (and I got quotes from many companies), showed up right on time, were incredibly communicative beforehand, and moved my things efficiently without any damage. Would use them again!

This was a horrible experience. The movers arrived 30 minutes late. They broke a 700$ freezer.
After the work was completed I was told by the movers to give them payment or they would call the police.
After speaking with management I was treated unprofessionally and told that they weren’t responsible for broken items via a contract. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Overall the company was very good. Sasha was very quick to respond to my multiple questions, but it would have been helpful to have NewRay suggest that an estimator come on site especially since the final inventory list I provided was not conveyed to the team who came to do the physical move. The moving team did an amazing job though they would have benefited from 1 more person on the crew and a slightly larger truck.

What a GREAT experience. I moved 5 years ago with this company. I just recently moved again and this couldn't have gone any better. I want to compliment this company on a few things. #1 Quick response to a quote request #2 On time arrival for my move #3 very professional movers team #4 Final price almost identical to the quote. From start to finish this was a great experience. I do want to mention all of this occurred in the middle of a rain storm. So Impressed!!!!!!
