I really liked the doctor- Dr. Brittney Carlos - she did a great job, and I would like to go back to her, but not this practice.They keep the strangest most difficult to decipher hours. Very hard to get ahold on the phone too. Also, as other reviews say, their glasses are quite expensive and they really try to upsell. They won’t give you your prescription to get glasses elsewhere which I find unethical not will they repurpose old frames. Again, if Dr. Brittney Carlos worked elsewhere, I’d follow her.

After searching for a new optometrist since moving to Fairfax City, I will not be returning here after my initial visit. Dr. Bermel didn’t perform my exam so this is not specific to him, but their office seemed to be in a constant state of disarray. I’ve followed up multiple times with their “Sales Consultant” Jeff and their front desk staff to pick up products that I have paid for, without any follow up or sincere concern to fulfill my order. It’s been almost 6 months since my visit.

I had an appointment January 17th and was prescribed a "new glass" because whatever I had was too strong. Was supposed to get glasses in 1week and it's a month now with no glasses or communication ?

The staff is very nice and welcoming. They gave me good advice and recommendations on glasses. They also remembered me when I came back to pick up my glasses, which felt nice. Arnold was especially great and fun to talk to.

Worst staff that I have ever dealt with. You call and ask specifically for Dr.Michael, and when you get there they have scheduled with someone else. It happened THREE times. How’s is this possible? Retuned contacts over a year now and still haven’t got the refund for it.

"Its my experience that leads to this review".I felt that it is not a Doctors office but an upselling/cross selling kind of commercial space where in loads of eye care products and treatments are sold which were not relevant to the issue I was facing. I am glad that I opted for a second opinion and educated myself better before falling into any traps.

Dr. Bermel takes the time to listen to you as a patient and is flexible with his hours. As someone with sensitive eyes, he's more than gentle enough.Also, my experience with gentle molding has changed my life. Would highly recommend.

Dr. Bermel is amazing. All his staff members are very friendly and cooperative. He treats all his patients like family members. He has a lot of experience and innovative treatments for lot of known and unknown eye problems. His experience with gentle molding is vast. He is the best choice for lenses. My whole family is very happy with the service.

Dr. Bermel is very good at explaining ways to keep your eyesight sharp. His recommendations are extremely helpful. His staff is very pleasant and are very respectful of your needs. They are sincerely interested in you!!! Love coming here!

Dr Bermel Saved my eye by spiting a macular hole and advising that I see a retinal specialist immediately. If it had not been for his quick action I might well have lost my eye. He is the most knowledgeable optometrist I have been to. He has an extraordinary number of diagnostic machines that most other optometrists don’t have. He will work diligently to get to the bottom of your problem. I have also been told by other optometrists that he is the best in the area. I highly recommend him.
