I had a great experience choosing a mattress with Vida at Lee Highway, Fairfax VA. Feeling overwhelmed by all the choices, Vida made the mattress buying process incredibly smooth and easy. Update 2: I have waited six weeks, MW didn't bother to follow up after the inspector concluded that my mattress was indeed delivered with damaged springs (and a damaged base!). MW replied to the BBB rather than to me and denied the warranty claim. This whole process has been highly illegal from selling me unmerchantable goods to refusing to honor their warranty. I will be pursuing next steps by filing a consumer rights violation and I recommend that anyone who has had a similar experience do the same.
Update: it's been a month. Their third party finally came to check the mattress and confirmed it is indeed broken. No rush by MW to fix the situation and health is suffering at this point due to lack of sleep.

Very disreputable business. I went to this Fairfax location in person (8/24) and purchased a $700 bed to be delivered. After sleeping on it for 2 nights I realized it was defective as it caused me to sink/roll to one side. The springs are clearly damaged from it being stored badly, so I sink in more than normal, and more to one side than I should. The salesman who sold it, John, said they "guarantee satisfaction" which is why I felt comfortable buying it. A few days later, when I had time to go back there (8/30), John claimed to send an email to customer service, but when I saw the copied email, it didn't even mention that the item was defective. Since then, I've also had no response from customer service, despite calling multiple numbers (including head of customer service John Gibson, district manager Shakaib Khan, and regional manager Kevin Keller, none of whom answer the phone or email). I don't understand how you can guarantee satisfaction if none of the customer service staff responds. And how can I trust that the next mattress won't be broken, or the one after that? It has been 2 weeks of not having a usable mattress. It cannot be legal to sell merchandise at this price without a proper course of action for the customer to take when the seller fails to deliver the promised goods. At this point I am forced to get a small claims lawyer involved because I want this piece of crap refunded and out of my way so that I can get a real bed. --- I tried to provide pics of how badly it sinks to one side, but it's pretty hard to capture with a phone in my windowless den. You can definitely see there is a crease on only one side though.
