I was not even aware that there was a Madewell location in Fairfax. I was going to return a pair of pants I ordered online and wanted to try on a different size. One thing I was not exactly thrilled with was the lack of close parking but that’s not the stores fault. It was a nice clean store and every employee was nice and attentive which i appreciated. The store is nicely laid out and has a pretty large selection given its size. I had no trouble getting a dressing room and dressing the help w the items I was looking at. All in all, a very nice store w great customer service. I will definitely be going back. I love Madewell items, especially their purses/ backpacks etc.

Terrible experience!!! Do not shop at this location! An African American girl who worked today was super rude! I Asked her for fitting room, she opened the fitting room curtain and it was empty. Told me to wait until other rooms will be available . After a few minutes, another customer asked for her fitting room and she told her, yes come over in that room! I said “how about me? “She looked at me trying to cover herself. She was super mean, never greet, never said hello. Disgusting ? customer service! This girl should never work in customer service!!! Never will come back again! If you not fire her will loose all customers! Anyone who need Madewell store go to McLean , Fairfax location needs better workers, who knows what is good customer service!!!!!!

Not friendly for plus size women. I’m extremely disappointed with their inventory and options in store and online. These jeans came highly recommended by friends but it was a wasted shopping trip.

I stopped in today looking for jeans and an outfit for a family photography session. The sales associate behind the counter was so friendly and just the right amount of help without any pressure. I bought 3 pairs of jeans because these are the most flattering and comfortable jeans I have ever tried on. I recently gave birth so it's a high mark to find something both comfortable and flattering but they hugged in the right places and provided support where needed. All around a good visit and I will definitely be back.

I come often here to shop and usually I stop by my favorite store Madewell. I got the impression that every time I come in, a staff Janina remembers me very well!! And she made me feel like the store is my second home!!! If you need help with opinion on the outfit you try on look for her!!! She has great tastes!!!!
