Lawyer of the LSNV Mary K Burke completely ruined my cases for child support and custody matters. She was rude, unprofessional, unethical, was not responsive, did not listen to my concerns, made multiple mistakes in calculations, missed filing and response deadlines, pressured me into accepting things I did not agree with. Her supervision team was not attentive to my complains and I filed official complain with Virginia State Bar about her misconduct.

I wouldn’t ask for any advice from this firm. The lawyer I spoke to was very misleading and provided inaccurate details. He spoke condescendingly about my landlord, using words professional personnel wouldn’t use. He called her an idiot. I left the 2 hour conversation frazzled. Luckily, my intuition told me to check on the information he provided and lo’ and behold he was completely off!! I’m not sure why Mr. Downey behaved the way that he did. The fact of the matter is he isn’t qualified to give legal advice. Elder law doesn’t qualify under tenant- landlord law.He probably thinks he could get away with his behavior. Reflects poorly on the organization, and, worse, he’s misusing his position to take advantage of vulnerable people. Shame on you!

This entity is on the Landlord's side. Why do they claim to assist you, but give the Chinese landlord advice infront of you? In addition, that court is doing some suspect mess like taking out my case out of the recorded Court room and sending them to a non recorded court room. Only a judge, a baliff and the two parties. Why don't they try all cases where they were assigned? Because, they are committing illegal judgements! Fairfax Count District Court!

These fake lawyers side with the Landlord and are paid off by the government to steal money from the poor! Illegal judgements in rooms not recorded and give legal advice to the landlord!!

If it were possible to give negative stars, I would. Fought these witches for ten years. They kept defending my exwife who prevented me from seeing my child, whose life I had always been fully a part. First, they waited til I was out of town and filed a protective order alleging i had beat up the ex frequently in our marriage...which ended one year before. They actually got it put in place, though I had no criminal background ever, and she never accused me of that. It took 7 months to get it removed in circuit court, and once there, THEY asked for it to be removed (when they got a bit more of my assets in divorce), but then in future court appearances, kept saying, "Well, you know judge, once he had to have a protective order filed on him..." Lying, cheating, weasels. And that was just in 2011! They filed again same thing every year, then did it big time in 2016 (all were refused), but in 2018, they told the court the school said I beat my kid. A lie, and where was the school personnel so we could question them? Never appeared, but the judge wrote it into the order anyhow: Don't beat your kid. Ridiculous. THere is sooo much more. They all ought to be disbarred. Very anti-male in family court, which is a good ol' boy and gal network. When I beat them repeatedly in 2012 through 2017, their solution? LIE and cheat. So disgusting a "justice" system I am writing a book about them. Finally, in 2021, they said my daughter doesn't want to see me anymore (and I hadn't seen her thanks to her mother for almost a year anyhow), and the judge repeated the remark like a d*** parrot, and they took my kid away. No evidence, all witnesses agreeing with me, and yes, this is absolutely true! Corrupt liars! Steer clear, particularly if you are male on the other end of these bitches.
