Sales clerks were not helpful and made it seem like we were annoying them. This is the second time this happened to us; gave them another chance cause we had 50 bucks in rewards. Spent a lot of money here over the years. Won’t be shopping here anymore.

Terrible experience at this store. You can tell management has let things slip here as some of the other reviews have said, so I'm not going to be as hard on the individual employees. I got fitted for a suit a couple of weeks ago, and when I went to pick up the suit on 8/17/23, the right sleeve was clearly scuffed and the threads were damaged. I just don't understand how any of the employees who handled that suit couldn't identify something that was as readily apparent as that was. There's either a level of dysfunctionality within the store that can't spot the easy things, or they thought I would be dumb enough to take it. The poor lady who was working there was a deer in headlights in trying to handle the situation. Since the manager wasn't at the store, she wasn't sure what the protocols were in getting a replacement suit at what cost, so I was left in an awkward position of saying if we can't fix it, I'll need a refund. Initially, she was only going to refund the suit (and not the tailoring services), but after I kindly informed her what would happen once I told my credit card company about it, she relented on giving the full refund.Instead of an autobot reply on here, if this store genuinely wants to respond, they can reach me at my cell phone number that they have on file. A positive response in the right fashion will go a long way.

As soon as I walked into the door, I saw a staff on the register. He saw me, but he didn't care about the customer walking into the store. Then a young kid ran all the way from the back of the store to greet me. It was clear that the young kid was trying his best to do the job right. But other than the kid, all other staffs were clearly not working and not interested in selling. For the lack of better word, this place is a shithole. The kid clearly wanted to do his best to give good vibes to customers. But all of the other staffs in the store were rude. If you need a good suit, avoid this store at all cost. Go get a better customer service elsewhere if you are planning to buy a good suit.

Very poor management at this location. My husband is transitioning out of the military and we are in the midst of buying him a business professional wardrobe. I specifically brought my husband to this location today knowing they have a nice sized store. He went to a different location without me a few weeks back, and they suggested he order some blazers online because they didn’t carry his size, which he did. When the blazers arrived, I could see immediately that they were way too big for him. Upon arriving at this location today, I greeted the front staff and stated that we were there for a return and to shop. While I was waiting to handle the return on my husband’s behalf, a junior staff member mentioned to a manager that there was a return after about 5 minutes. I overheard one of the managers - working with another couple - say « I’ll handle the return after I’m done making money right here. » Disgusting attitude. I waited another 10 minutes and was stewing at that point. When I was eventually assisted and informed the manager that I overheard his discussion and that I was disappointed with his statement, he said « I’m sorry you feel that way. ». No, sir. I’m sorry that you attempted to justify your actions by acting as if your unprofessional statement was my problem. Simply saying « you’re right, I’m wrong » could have smoothed things over. The fact that your store gets $5,000 worth of online returns each month and that it’s going to put you and your staff out of business is not my concern. I couldn’t stomach spending any more time in your presence, so we took our $2,000+ worth of in-person purchases to Pentagon City, where we were greeted and treated with respect by a new hire named Solomon.

It took 20 minutes to be acknowledged at all. Instead of selling me the suit I wanted, the salesperson argued about the color of the suit for 5 minutes and stuck me in a corner of the store and said, "Here's your options." I know there are more than 5 suits in the store that I could get... my 2 friends and I were all looking to purchase for an upcoming wedding. It could've been easy money for them/the store. I had a much better experience last time I came here. Some staff training about not starting arguments/being confrontational could be used here... Thanks for wasting 30 minutes of my time for nothing

Initially I was intimated to go the store as I thought everything might be above my budget but then store representative helped me out in finding a suit jacket based on my requirement in less than 50 USD. In short they have wide range relating to a wide spectrum of prices that can fit everyone's pocket. So just checkout their store you might be more lucky than me

I made an appointment for my wedding for the groom/groomsmen and no one helped. No suits to try on. We waited around forever just to get measurements. Wanted to buy but no one seemed interested in helping. Was pretty disappointed and will unfortunately have to go elsewhere.

Kevin was incredibly kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and thorough. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for formal wear. He followed up with us and our special order. Taking extra precautions so that even if something went wrong with it, we would be guaranteed our second choice.

Great prices, great staff who are knowledgeable and willing to help with whatever you need. Definitely the best place to get suits for the price point. I didn't catch his name but the manager is superb.

Walked in the store to check the balance of my gift card. Not greeted. I finally got someone’s attention, and they said they would assist. That person walks off and starts putting away shoes, then asks someone else to help me with the gift card inquiry . 4-7 minutes passes by and he doesn’t greet me just continues to hang up suit jacks. They could have been very busy but clearly 3 employees to two other groups of customers besides me. The optics look horrible and the customer experience was horrible! Maybe they have bad customer service or maybe is a deeper culture issue.

Probably the worst customer service experience.I walk in, no greetings- fine, I wasn’t expecting one but usually that opens the door for me to ask a question. That doesn’t happen though, so I walk around looking for some suits.No one asks if I need assistance, even after 10minutes and even after making eye contact with at least customers. Eventually I go up to two gentlemen and ask if I can be helped and they look at me as if I’m interrupting them. One gentleman points me to my size and walks off.Don’t even bother.

Solid service and damn good clothes. Half of my dress shirts, and a fair amount of my pants, are from Jos A Bank. First off kudos to the employees here, as they are extremely qualified. Whether relatively new to sharp dressing, or perhaps a business executive, you'll like the people who work here. They know how to not only measure you, but have been helpful with invaluable advice over the years. I forgot his name, but part of the reason I've discovered purple, is due to him getting me to step up my game. The ties and black pants pair well with this. I've worn them at job interviews, community functions, and it's part of life funerals. Every item I've bought from here has lasted a long time. Also just so you know, I'm vicious to clothing, equipment, and the like. If you're a guy that's known for this, here's where you should go. They have really good sales, and a clearance section, that has sharp looking clothes. I'm pleased to recommend this store and brand. Solid!
