I was helping my partner with a complicated tax situation (taxed in the wrong state). They were our last minute emergency play after I realized the error. They provided excellent advice and helped us navigate a complex situation in a clear straightforward manner. There were some delays with our scheduled appointment due to other last minute clients, but that's to be expected on 14 April.

Worst experience! Abdullah Dehlavi delayed filing my taxes till after the deadline and provided incorrect information. Now I owe the government a lot of money and a 5% penalty because of h&r block. He had several days to realize his mistake and let me know but he did not. They did not compensate me for the penalty they caused either

I had a wonderful experience at the H&R Block location in Fairfax off of route 50. Elena went above and beyond. She was very professional and a joy to chat with. She also provided me meaningful advice for next years taxes and adjustments to make to help me better. Sahar was helping throughout the office and assisting. She was very professional and assisted when needed for the Tax experts. Sahar and Elena are the reason I will continue to go to this HR Block location!

Natalia Drummond is an excellent CPA and I will continue to work with her as a freelancer filing taxes for my small business as long as she is willing to help me! She is thorough, timely, and really helps me understand my deductions, credits, and what I need to keep track of in order to get the most out of my tax return for the following year. She has helped me learn how to better organize my business expenses throughout the year to make filing easier, she patiently explains everything, and she takes a genuine interest in the things going on in my career that will affect my returns. If you have taxes that are more complicated such as I do, Natalia is the best!

After requesting an expert in small business I was given a temp employee who was not familiar with H&R software. Paying over $500 for not a not so expert in small business was very disappointing.

Phillip Gibbs treated me very well and performed his job in a professional manner during my visit. He did not make me feel rushed or worried about things, but rather made me feel completely at home. There wasn't many people there to help him out, so he was operating with little help with a bad back and had his cane to get around. I was inspired and liberated all in one visit to my local H&R Block. The company is great, but Mr. Gibbs was fantastic and will be the main reason I return next year.
