Nice hotel in a convenient spot for work travel- one complaint was the emergency vehicle horns/sirens going off intermittently throughout the night, but it is near a station so it really can't be helped.It was also icy in the parking lot during my stay which made getting out of your vehicle/unloading bags a little sketchy, but the main walkways were clear.Access to grocery stores and restaurants close by is also a good feature.

Breakfast area barely heated, uncomfortable in winter. Underwhelming breakfast with minimal service. There are much better options in the area for the same money.

HGIs have a made-to-order breakfast menu, and it's very good. Rooms are reallynice, the shower was great, and the entire property was very clean and comfortable. There is a shopping center directly across the street, and Ocean Paradise Restaurant was excellent!

We stay at Hilton Garden Inn Fair Ridge Dr Fairfax VA every 3 months for INOVA Lung Center appts. Great staff, clean rooms, and good food in Grille. Thank you to the staff who work to accommodate our medical needs!

The front desk people were less than cordial. Twice the employees were not helpful. We were unable to get a receipt at checkout due to computer issues. It was a 1 night stay. We won't stay there again when we visit family.

This hotel was right off of the main road that’s taken to get almost everywhere you want to go in Fairfax. The amenities offered were great also. The front desk staff was very helpful when needed. Room was clean and comfortable. Would recommend.

My decision to write a negative review for this hotel stems from the unfortunate experience I had with the staff's competence. The receptionist I encountered was not only remarkably impolite but also displayed a high degree of incompetence, which stands out given my extensive travel history. When I approached them for assistance in securing a refund for a stay I couldn't use due to their inability to accommodate me, I received no help whatsoever.In a rather uncommon occurrence for hotels, my attempt to check in early for work was met with failure, leaving me with no other option but to reserve a room at a different hotel. To make matters worse, when I sought a refund, they redirected me to the third-party website through which I had initially made the booking. Despite the third-party representative reaching out to them, they declined to honor the refund request. This, in my view, raises serious ethical concerns.

We had to come here for a wedding. Usually have great success with Hilton. The reason we chose this hotel over others in areas because they have a pool / hot tub. Well when we got here after I got to my room I called down to ask about when the pool closes and they told me that the pool was not open because the pool had to have some certain individual there for it to be open he was very unclear about who that individual was and what that meant. I asked when the pool would be open again and he said 4:00 p.m. which was well after the time we would be leaving the next day so essentially the pool wasn't closed while I was there but it wasn't where I could use it because of certain individual wasn't there and another individual quit and so the pool wasn't open. I had called this location before I came down to find out if the pool was available and she told me it was. I could not be any more disappointed in this location for that reason. I specifically looked for a place with a pool and hot tub.Rooms: The room was well appointed and the keyless entry with your phone access was very nice.

I've stayed here twice in 2023 while clearing out my parents' house. Rooms were comfortable and very clean both times, the staff was helpful when I needed them, and I never had any cause for complaint. I'll book here again when I'm back next year.Rooms: The rooms I stayed in over two visits this year had comfortable beds, plenty of desk space, good lighting, and were immaculately clean when I got there.Noteworthy details: The noteworthy part is that most places I've stayed at this price point haven't been nearly this clean. They're really doing a great job here.

TLDR: I paid for a hotel room that was sold and given to someone else. I was offered a backup room at midnight that was still occupied. I was given a new backup room that did not have a functioning toilet. The frontdesk staff disappeared when I came down to complain and got locked out of my room cause my key didn't work. I am more than happy to provide the emails from Hilton confirming all of this.Had a reservation at Hilton I made days prior to my arrival. I arrived a midnight and was informed my room was given away because they overbooked. As an alt. they offered me a room with no TV. I accepted but when I walked into the room (after midnight now) it was occupied. I ran out and back down to the front desk. After working out that whole debacle they offered me another alt. room with no TV. I accepted again. Once I got into the room I went to the bathroom to discover there was no toilet. I went back down to the front desk to complain only to find no one was there. I go back upstairs to my toiletless room only to discover my keycard doesn't work (I'm kicking myself because I left my wallet, luggage, and keys in the room).I go back downstairs and have to wait until tsomeone finally came back. The front desk manager said I wouldn't be charged for the stay. However it seems they didn't have the authority to make that decision because after hours of customer service having to explain this over and over and over, they've offered me 8000 points/ 50 bucks to a future stay instead. I had my credit card company block the charge instead since they still attempted to charge me the original rate. While I realize it's a very small impact, I'm done with Hilton.Customer service has shrugged their shoulders at me and me know that they've offered me 10k points towards a future stay (roughly $50) and won't be doing anything else.

The incredible hotel staff that made our wedding reception absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, they were a dream team. The wait staff, bartender, banquet manager, and catering manager went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly.The wait staff took care of all our guests' needs with a smile. They knew how to make everyone feel like royalty. And let me tell you, the bartender definitely kept the party going.But it didn't stop there. The banquet manager, Julio, and catering manager, Kylie, were like the dynamic duo of event planning. They worked tirelessly behind the scenes to coordinate every little detail, and not a single thing was overlooked. They were responsive, attentive, and simply a joy to work with.I can't recommend this venue enough. Not only because of the stunning setting, but because of the extraordinary hotel staff who truly made our wedding reception a night to remember.Rooms: Not very spacious, but definitely very clean.Nearby activities: There’s a shopping strip across from the hotel and not far from Fair Oaks Mall.Food & drinks: No free breakfast, but moderately priced food is offered in the morning and evening. Not sure about lunch.

The lobby and rooms were beyond what I expect at Garden Inn prices. Beautiful and new. We only stayed for one short night, but I would have been very pleased with this as weekend accommodations. Right across from a Harris Teeter for anything you might need. The front desk was also very kind and helpful when we arrived late at night after flight delays. Thank you!
