first of all the main branch have no tellers, only two individuals sitting at the desk, doing everything for customer service. one day i waited in line for 25 minutes 2 customers were ahead of me and i had to leave. they have messed up my account, yesterday i was able to do a zelle and after 24 hrs i tried to send a zelle and they have locked my account . the moneies are in my account(much more than i was going to transfer in the zelle) so i have no clue why they locked my account, ( they probably have no clue either) i have several accounts there, savings, checking, vacation account, holiday account and cd. i will be slowly closing each account because i do expect better service. i am so done with this credit union

Juan Helguero is extremely helpful and has assisted with so many questions for multiple years! My experience here has been wonderful! He should be a manager here!

December 2020. I received a phone call from Next Mark Credit Union (number and name appeared on caller ID). The person on the other end identified himself as a NextMark employee telling me that my account had been compromised. This single phone call led to my account being hacked into without me giving my password or account number. It was done by me giving my member number and NOTHING else. Granted I should have not given my member number out so that is my fault. So, without anything more than my member number, no account number, no password, no password secret questions/answers given my account was hacked. Within minutes my email and phone number attached to my account was changed without my knowledge (from a device that had never been used before). The sickening part of the whole event is that the credit union had been getting accounts hacked i the exact same way in the days leading up to mine being hacked but they chose not to let the members know because they "did not want to ALARM members" You read that right! They rather your account to be hacked then to send out a notice to members, letting them know there is an a serious issue with accounts getting hacked by someone spoofing not only the NextMark phone number, but fax number and email address Again this can be done WITHOUT your password, without your account number, WITHOUT asking secret questions and all from a device never used. Personally, think that someone in NextMark is involved or their whole system has been hacked. If you want to be with a Credit Union that does NOT want to ALARM you of a very serious issue so they can save face, this is the bank for you. Needless to say, after 18 years of horrible services from NextMark (formerly Fairfax County Credit Union) they proved to me that I was with them 17+ too many years.
