Juan, the owner and someone from his staff came to our house and provided us with a quote same day as our outreach. Very nice and professional. We told them we are getting quotes from others and will let them know. After doing our research, I seemed to like Juan the most. His target completion for the project start to finish was a week. Others were saying 2-3 weeks. I wanted the job done quickly and for the contractors to be out of the house asap. So that was the main reason we chose to go with Eduards flooring. He brought with him a catalogue from House of Forgings. I hadn’t heard of it so asked him if they have used them before and about the quality of the parts. He assured me they were the best. The first day of work the workers came on time and with material. I was surprised that the boxes had another name - Ideal Stairs. To me that was a bait and switch but I let it go bc the balusters looked the same and seemed sturdy enough. Abel was the main guy and Juan said he was their best. After first day all they did was demo some parts of the old staircase. Then came the issues - some parts were missing or some wrong parts were ordered. The work had to stop bc of this and the office manager Licela told me it wasn’t their fault - it was the supplier who sent incorrect items. There was no work done one whole day. Then Abel started working but he didn’t bring any other crew. I thought that was odd. He seemed to have a very difficult time in figuring out how to put the hand rails together - I thought this was their best guy? All we changed from the old rail to the new was the posts and the wooden balusters. I didn’t know why it was so difficult. Ultimately the work was not making much progress and I complained to Licela and asked to speak with Juan - who was out of the country for some emergency. I told her that I was dissatisfied and sent her videos showing the lack of progress. She arranged a conference call with Juan and they agreed to remove Abel and send another crew. Already a week in I asked how much longer for completion- the new crew said 3-4 days. It took them start to finish 3 weeks - 3 times the initial project time we had discussed. The workers seemed to want to be done with the project and would cut corners. I had to stay on them to point out obvious imperfections. Like they didn’t sand down the hand rails properly. Then applied a very subtle gloss to them. I needed them to go over it a few times to match the shine of the floors. They would do a good job cleaning up after themselves and always tried to please us. Overall I think the job was completed with average professional quality. I don’t plan on ever recommending this company to any friend or family.

I first met Eduard in 2006 when his team first installed hardwoods on the upper level of my split level. What I loved about his work is he COMPLETELY u destroy what I wanted. I didnt want the typical super shiny glossy flooring. I wanted my floor as natural as possible, without any gloss and they gave me exactly what I wanted. They also put hardwood down the staircase. I could not be any happier with his results. THEN in 2016, after I rented the house out and the tenants completely messed up the floors, I found Eduard and his team returned to resand and reseal the floors and it was back to perfect. I cant recommend this man enough. i sold the property in 2021 and no doubt the beautiful floors helped sell the house. After 18 years I STILL have his number on my cellphone for when I need hardwood flooring again. Love Eduards Flooring team!

Love the new look on our floors.Got a call within the hour and had an appointment a day or two later, estimate was then sent quickly. Very responsive correspondence, and they were available the next week. They did everything they said they would, they even changed the coloring to a more natural look. I would highly recommend them.

lots of mistakes from start to finish. they ordered less materials due to missing one bedroom but lied to me that the extra woods were damaged during logistics and I had to pay more... thank god I was able to tell it was a lie. then when they finish the work, my balcony door ended up not being able to open...! so they had a shed the floor a little to get the door open. worst, they never fully completed the whole project. AVOID THIS PROVIDER

I would leave 10 stars if I could. Juan, Carlos and the guys were competitively priced and did the requested work with integrity and skill. My wife and I couldn’t be more pleased with how our house turned out. If you want to save money, make your house look beautiful and support a great local business, go to Eduards.

We just hired Eduards to install oak flooring in our kitchen. They were so easy to work with - immediately responsive and clear in their communication. They were able to get a crew out to do the work very quickly, and crew members were considerate while working in our home. When we had a few finishing details that needed to be done after the crew left, Eduards sent someone back the very next day to handle them. We are so happy with our new floors!

I worked with Johan and can say his response to issues I was having is the reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. They were able to start right away, but besides that, very little was done right.This floor is not stained, it is painted with stain, and poorly at that. The workmanship is sub par (see photos) and I had to keep asking for timelines, for them to clean up (and watch them do it because they weren't going to if I hadn't!), and to finish the job (never did, still missing moulding).They even used my paint brushes and stain I had bought for other projects! If I hadn't been completely vigilant about the whole project, I wouldn't have noticed all of this until it was too late.I really wish they had been honest up front and put some pride into their work. Would not recommend.

I just had Eduards refinish my oak flooring and 4 flights of stairs The price was great and the crew and overall workmanship was excellent. They completed the job in 4 days and the house looks completely different and its bright and feels more like home. I have a few more projects in the coming months and I will give them a call again.
