We worked with Cyrus Construction in completely renovating our townhouse's middle level. Prior to choosing Cyrus we solicited multiple quotes with Cyrus being the most competitive. Their team executed a significant project, including structural changes and a kitchen renovation, under the supervision of a communicative project manager, Farzan. The project stayed within the agreed timeframe, and any budget adjustments were transparently discussed. The team was flexible with adjustments to the plan as the project evolved. We are extremely pleased with the final result and would recommend Cyrus for your remodeling needs.

Cyrus Construction renovated our basement and mudroom, completing the project in time for our baby’s arrival.The work was top notch. The crew did a great job and were very respectful throughout the project.On design, we needed pushing along and Farzan, who led the project, helped provide us options to make decision making easier for us. Anything we didn’t quite like they were open to changing.We’d recommend them to others looking for renovation contractors.

Contacted the company for a basement remodeling. Scheduled an appointment and everything, but when the estimator showed up at my house, I was then informed that they do NOT accept jobs that are less that 15k. I would have been happy to had known such information on the initial phone call instead of in person, waisting my time and the company's time.So, if you are looking to have them over to perform a job at your place, keep in mind that starting price is 15k.

We used Cyrus Construction for a full basement finish - rec room, office, and full bath. While they were not the cheapest estimate we got, they were in the middle, and their service and professionalism were worth it. The Project Manager Farzan was always responsive and professional. He worked with us as we tweaked the design a couple times. He also was sure to check in on the project several times. The construction team led by Jose was great. Jose and his team were always professional, clean, and friendly. Jose was always willing to listen and answer questions. They also delivered on time which everyone knows is a rarity with contractors. They told us 6-8 weeks, but were also upfront that it could take longer if there were unforeseen circumstances. They finished in 8 weeks even with a few hiccups and delays with the county inspection. We definitely recommend and will consider them again when it is time for the next project.Service: Basement remodeling

Nova Basement Finishing, in conjunction with Cyrus Construction, just completed a basement renovation at our home in Falls Church, Va. They took an unfinished basement and turned it into a beautiful space. We added a half bathroom, egress window, a storage closet, and closets for HVAC. The bid, material selection, permits, etc processes were all seamless and expertly handled. They started the project on time and finished in the estimated construction timeline. I was very pleased with the crew, who was diligent and did their best to minimize disruption, and contain and cleanup the inherently messy process. The team was also very responsive on questions and concerns that arose during the project. They also kept us well informed when water or electricity had to be shutoff for brief periods and coordinated with us to minimize the impact. Overall, I am very happy with the finished project, the crew, and whole team who supported the project. We are very much looking forward to using this new space!

We relocated to the Alexandria/Springfield area a few months ago and decided that we wanted to finish our basement in our single-family home. After obtaining a few bids, we settled on Cyrus Construction. In the end, we could not have been any more pleased with our decision. The project manager (Farzan Beyrami) was superb and displayed professionalism at all times. The job actually started ahead of schedule and completed ahead of schedule. The basement looks fantastic. Thus, we highly recommend Cyrus Construction to anyone in the DC Metro area in need of home improvement projects.

They refused to honor the deal for $28,000 which I had claimed on Angi's. After providing an estimate, I asked them to honor deal of $28,000 for 800 sq. ft but they refused. very unprofessional

The good folks at Cyrus Construction completed another excellent remodeling project for us. They installed new framing, upgraded electrical with new wall outlets and more of them, installed new recessed lighting, put cable outlets on opposite walls, repainted the walls and ceiling, and installed new luxury vinyl tile. They enlarged the opening to our crawlspace and replaced the door. The crafts persons were usually parked in front of our house waiting to begin when I got up each morning. They cleaned the workspace often, and they were quick to accommodate my requests for quiet when I had a telework meeting in my office next door. We are extremely pleased with their work. This is the second major job they have completed for us, and we will definitely go back to them again for more remodeling work.

The pics below are representative of a ~ $12-$15K master bathroom remodel Cyrus did for us. Included demo (removal of tub, sink / cabinet combo, toilet and 2x large wall cabinets), floor reinforcement, permits / inspection, and install of a walk-in tile shower w/ sliding glass door, new lighting, in-wall medicine cabinet, new vanity, new toilet and new flooring.Went w/ Cyrus not because their estimate was the cheapest, but because of their apparent professionalism. Russel quickly impressed me as someone who would stand behind and guarantee his work. Quality work, professionalism, flexibility and standing behind your work is more important in my book than being cheapest. Russel and his team delivered on all fronts!As with any remodel, hiccups occurred that extended the timeline, but most delays were my own fault as I dragged my feet picking out fixtures, tile, etc. All my issues / concerns were immediately remedied. Despite a BUSY schedule, Russel was responsive and always eager to look for opportunities to get work done.We did have one small problem with a worker not securing our front door via the lockbox / key. This happened once, and upon being notified of our concern, Russel did not allow that worker back on our job.I LOVE our new bathroom and am glad we went w/ Russel & Cyrus construction!Service: Remodelling

We recently hired Cyrus Construction to renovate our upstairs, including renovating our master bathroom and laundry room and replacing the old carpet with hardwood floors. Farzan and his crew were a pleasure to work with throughout the entirety of the project. They stayed on schedule and whenever any issue would arise, it was addressed immediately and to our complete satisfaction. We are very pleased with the end results and would definitely hire them again for any new project.
