I am starting chemotherapy and was advised to start shopping for a wig. Before finding Bravadas, I had a negative experience at a different wig store - in both quality and experience. I called Bravadas and spoke to Stephen - who right off the bat made me feel welcome and positive! When I arrived at the store I was so happy to find a clean, bright, and calming space. I had a private room with a stylist who found me the absolute perfect wig. It looks JUST like my own hair and the quality is significantly better than what I saw at other stores - and for the same price point! There were so many style and color options. And my stylist offered to trim the wig on the spot if I wanted a different style. Everyone was so kind and attentive and upbeat! It was exactly how this experience should be. I would never go anywhere else. I wish I had gone here first!!! They also helped write a receipt so that I can seek insurance reimbursement. Anyone facing cancer treatment would be happy to find Bravadas. It was well worth the 40 minute drive from DC for me.

Nice people but you ask for one thing, they give you another and then say it's the same. It isn't. If I ask for something specific either you have it or you don't. And please be prompt, don't tell me things got busy.

My friend purchased a wig from this store over the weekend and the service she received from Mequeda and her team were spectacular. As an experienced person, she was impressed with this store's natural hair wig collections. Mequeda's patience, expertise and attention to my friend's needs is something that truly impressed both of us and you want to be attended by someone who is focus on your needs versus their personal goal. Thank you Maqueda. Keep up the good job. You will see us again. She even cut my hair, and did such a good job with it. My first dry haircut.

Came here with my mom and had a great experience, everyone was very nice and we had a lot of fun too. She is going through chemo and it’s a vulnerable time for her but this was a 10 out of 10 experience. They shared contact info with us to reach out if we have questions about the wig care. Even I got a wig! The quality of the wigs was unmatched and they had lots of options. Thank you to the Bravadas family :)

I scheduled a free consultation here after I found out I needed to do some chemo. The personalized service and private wig fitting rooms really made the experience much easier to cope with. Being newly diagnosed, i was pretty emotional but Mequeda really put me at ease and in very little time had picked out the ultimate wig for when I need it. Once it arrives, I’ll return for the fitting/cut and will post some photos.

This place is THE BEST!!!!! Maqueda and Andria are super knowledgeable and customer oriented. They were patient, kind, and compassionate. There is a level of customization that they do to the wigs that was super helpful and made it feel like my own. I can’t say enough good things about this place. You will be so happy if you go here.

Be careful when you buy wigs there. Read the fine lines on the return policy before you sign. After two days I tried to return the expensive wig but they wont give me back my money. I was told that it was on that contract that I cant return it and I did not read it thoroughly and I did not also ask for a copy. I didnt fuss anymore. . A very expensive mistake!!!! Now I'm stuck with an $800 wig!!! It was really a deceitful ploy.
