I stopped by this location a couple of months ago and did not have a very pleasant experience. Myself and my friend stopped to check on getting some watermelon or cantaloupe but no one came over to ask us if we needed any assistance. We both saw two individuals that were working there but they looked over and saw us and pretended that we were not there. Needless to say I will never waste my time going to this location again. Truly not sure how they have such a high rating.

What a wonderful little nursery. Really homey/community vibe. The two employees were super helpful in assisting me with selecting some native plants for two different areas of my yard and prices were pretty reasonable, maybe touch cheaper than at a box store or larger operation.

Really helpful with helping you find what you’re looking for! Their flowers were teeming with butterflies! Definitely recommend if you want to attract them to your garden. Lots of interesting plants that you wouldn’t find at one of those big stores. They had some local honey and fruit too

Heather Hill is one of the best small nurseries in the area. The plants are consistently robust, and the selection is fantastic. They have a bunch of native Virginian plants that I rarely see elsewhere, like honeysuckle vines. The prices feel like a steal. I bought three broccoli plants and three habanero plants for six bucks total. Night Sky Petunias, a new favorite of mine, were a five spot for a starter container. If you want good plants cheap, go here.

I haven’t been here for a while due to health problems, but I can tell you I have bought the best plants and herbs here. For instance, Dames Rockets, a member of the mustard family, but the most gorgeous lavender color! They were a standout in my garden. But my pride and joy is a white hydrangea that lives in a huge barrel that sits on my patio. She’s been with me for a number of years and I thank Heather Hill for her! So, this is a wonderful nursery for beautiful flowers and herbs. You have to go!

We stumbled upon this place one Saturday and it made for a lovely outing. The lady who rang us up was so sweet and helped us with all of our questions. The flowers are beautiful and still blooming months later due to the advice we were given!
