Wow! Look at the hardwood flooring we had installed on 4-15-24 on the stairs and the whole second floor. It only took 2 days! The whole job cost $10,680 for hardwood upstairs the stairs to the first floor. We paid $2100 for high quality vinyl for the stairs going to the basement with the landing, plus tax. We worked with They have a tiny store at 5622 Ox Rd, Fairfax Station, VA 22039. Or call 703-764-9330 and they will come to your house. I got 2 other quotes from well-known companies. The estimates for the exact same job were $18,473 and $22,250. The company with the highest quote was very nice and informative. He told me his crews have been with him for 20 years. I was tempted, but just couldn't pay close to double the price. The 3 man crew that came Monday worked FAST. The lead man has been with his boss for exactly 20 years, since he was 16 years old. He did all of the stair work, beautifully. The second day he came alone and finished the job. We Love our new floors!

I wanted carpet for 14 stairs. Everywhere I went they would not sell it to me without installation. Finally I found D & S Floor Covering near my home. WOW how easy and cheap was that. They even held my purchase until my contractor could pick it up. What a gentleman and amazing service.! Highly recommend.

Masood was such a pleasure to deal with. He brought samples to our home and made some excellent suggestions. The installation was on time with no surprises. Great job at a very reasonable price. Price was much better than the big box stores. This is the guy to use.

I had a wonderful experience with D&S Floor Covering! They recently installed hardwood floor on two levels of my house and new carpeting on the stairs. The men completing the work were efficient and courteous. They even went above and beyond the job to help fix some creaks in the existing floorboards. Masood provided us with a phenomenal experience. He was patient while I choose colors, helped plan out a timeline that worked with my schedule, and was incredibly informative about the product types available and what he thought would work best for my needs. I highly recommend D&S Floor Covering to anyone!

Bought a home that needed top to bottom renovations, including almost 2000 sq ft of new hardwood, another 2000 of old hardwood floors/steps/banisters refinished, another 2000 of luxury vinyl installed, and carpet steps ripped out and replaced with hardwood. Of ALL our MANY contractors (tile, electric, painting, handymen, etc), Masood was the one person who's team showed when he said he would 100% of the time, did a great job the FIRST time (one crew ripped up old carpet and installed all the hardwood in ONE day, and another crew installed the vinyl in ONE day as well - honestly, I didn't think that much could be done in so short a time). He provided great pricing and wonderful service, advising me which flooring would be more durable and ordering in a flooring I liked best rather than pushing me into something easier to get. Masood is very easy to work with and made sure everything was done well. We had used him at a previous house and been happy there as well, but the new flooring in this house made a huge difference. Highly recommend D&S!

This company works with a guy named Mike McDaniels, stay far away from this guy. I called Empire (yes, Empire) to get an estimate, Mr. Daniels came out but he didn't represent Empire, he represents a company calls 'Kmak Floors' ... but then he ordered flooring from D&S ... very confusing and sketchy. Needless to say, it was the worst experience I ever had with contractors. Flooring never arrived. Mr. McDaniels promised 3 different install dates, but never happened. I called but he didn't pick up his phone. Left messages but he didn't call me back. I asked D&S for a refund but they refused, saying it's between me and Mr. McDaniels. I had to pick the flooring and had another company does the installation. Lessons learned ... I'd rather pay more money than to deal with this mess.

D&S Flooring was recommended by a friend - and I am so glad to have had them do the flooring in my basement. Masood the owner returned my request or information very quickly, and scheduled a time with me to measure the floor. I already knew the LVP the I wanted, and he brought the sample to help me choose a coordinating carpet. He provided a fair price for the flooring and labor. Two different teams did the work - one team did the LVP flooring and one team did the carpeting. My basement looks brighter, and bigger, and I am very pleased with the entire process from order to completion. D&S Flooring definitely deserve a 5 star review for all they did on my basement. D&S Floor Covering gave us a detail break down about what they would do and how much their works cost. Because our house was a rental property for over 10 years and the floor condition was really bad. D&S Floor Covering did a careful evaluation and gave us different proposals with cost breakdown. We like the details so we can choose what we need. The job was done very fast and the end result was stunning. They are very professional and on time. We are very happy and will use them again in our own house flooring update.
