Whether you are a coffee connoisseur or just drinking for the caffeine, this place is perfect for you. They treat every customer like family and will take the time to ask you about your flavor profile and what time of coffee you typically like and then they proceed to provide you with an amazing coffee experience with the most delicious pour overs to espresso based drinks you've ever had. Watching them work is an added plus. They pay so much attention to each step of the process from when they freshly grind your beans to when they pull your shot or make your pour over, you can see them deep in thought; fully engaged in the process. They are constantly rotating their beans, bringing in award winning specialty coffee beans from all over the world. They usually have the beans for sale as well in case you love it and want to take some home.

One of my favorite cafe for late night iftar sips. Not the biggest spot so gets a lil crowded but wait time for drinks is not more than 5-10 minutes, staff is friendly, free games to play, and cost less than $7.

Some of the best coffee I’ve had in this area, and in general! Their syrups are made in-house and are super flavorful without the synthetic taste. Lots of options on the menu, and bonus points for being open late every night in Ramadan! The service is always super friendly and quick. 10/10 experience and will definitely be a regular here!

Came here to grab coffee after Iftar and it was so amazing to have another place open for coffee late at night. Coffee was really good and customer service was really nice. Definitely recommend!

My sister and I have come in every single night since Ramadan began. We’re unbelievably happy with the service here.. The product is more than worth it. The appreciation the staff shows us for our patronage is beyond what we expected. There’s a real community vibe here, and in the 40 years I’ve lived in this part of the DMV I’ve never said that. We’ve tried a lot of spots with later hours for Ramadan but we’ve never walked into any of them and been greeted like we were already friends .. this feels like home.

Hidden coffee shop near Golds gym & Mr. Tire. I've found myself here while my car got work done, and before the gym to wrap up some work. Great coffee - the owners are very friendly and seemingly really into trying to make the perfect coffee.

No coffee beans for sale. The coffee I got wasn't good. The sandwich was bad. The barista was nice though.

Based on the reviews here on Google for 29th Parallel, my expectations were high. Unfortunately, after my visit, I find it hard to believe most of these reviews are legitimate. The negatives:1. The seating area felt dirty and rundown.2. My wife ordered a hot tea. I was surprised to see on the receipt that we had been charged almost $5 for an Earl Grey tea bag. I could understand the price being higher if the tea had been loose leaf tea, but $4.70 before tax for an Earl Grey tea bag was $1-1.50 more than I would expect. I also made note while we were in the shop of the fact that the tea prices were not listed on the menu (you can see this in photos on other reviews).3. The dirty chai had hardly any flavor and tasted like it was just a watered-down chai tea bag. I am not convinced the barista actually added the espresso to the chai. The price of the dirty chai per the menu was $6.95. However, when reviewing my digital receipt, I noticed the barista charged me an additional $1.50 for an espresso shot. I would assume that the dirty chai (chai + espresso) price should include the cost of the espresso? So, unfortunately, I paid $8.45 + tax for a drink that tasted like an already-used chai tea bag over some hot water.4. The menu lists two different prices for each drink: dine-in and to-go. The barista did not ask us whether we were staying or taking our coffees to go, but rang us up and charged us the to-go price (we were planning to stay). The shop was open for two more hours and there were other customers seated in the shop, so I do not know why the barista ringing us up would make the assumption we wanted our drinks to-go without asking us. I could understand this being the case if we had shown up right before closing.

The service was great, the vibe is nice with cute couch seating, the floors were dirty. Unfortunately the coffee was just fine. I ordered a rose late. It didn't taste anything of rose whatsoever, in fact. The cup was laughably small and is an overpriced product tasting just okay. I wouldn't come back- however, if the portion size was less stingy, I might have considered coming back and trying another one of their flavors. It's possible they just didn't nail the rose flavor.
