Boyd Chevy listing on Car Gurus stated Jeep was automatic. Boyd states their add is correct on their Boyd site, Car Gurus states dealer is responsible for add on Car Gurus, Boyd says they are not. Scam online appearance to bring you to the dealer which cost me 3 hours and gas only to find an automatic was a standard transmission.

The last two times I’ve been to this dealership has been disheartening to say the least. Kathryn evidently has a problem with someone of color. The service at Boyd of Emporia is not what you pay for. I went there to get an oil change & also because a “shift to park” light keeps coming on. My car is under warranty for 36,000 miles from date of purchase or 3 years whichever comes first. I purchased my vehicle July 3, 2020. Today is December 26, 2022. I currently have 32,000 miles on my car. I was told my car was no longer under warranty in which it was. I waited almost an hour for a fax from the dealership I purchased my car at to get warranty information. Kathryn told me she had to wait for someone to get back from lunch to receive fax. Then in the same breath she initially gives me a fax number to a workers station that wasn’t even working that day. Unacceptable! I had to call back to dealership to have them to re-fax again. Still waited another 30 minutes after that. No one has time to be wasted on pettiness! EVERYBODY deserves to be treated with respect & dignity! I had to keep calling the dealership where I purchased my vehicle because Kathryn wasn’t being helpful in my situation which also makes them look bad to any other dealership. Needless to say, Boyd of Emporia will not get any more of my business.Services: Oil change

Purchased a 2021 Silverado from Boyd's Chevrolet of Emporia, Va and the level of customer service from start to finish was hands down the easiest and most professional experience we have had purchasing a vehicle. Our sales rep, Barry Ferguson, was top notch and made sure we were well informed through every step of the process. We were given a very fair allowance for our trade and a great price on our new truck. From arriving at the dealership, test driving to signing papers and being on our way, we had a total of 2 1/2 hours at the dealership! Boyd's customer service is above and beyond what we expected! Great team!!!

While I understand up-selling may be a fact of life in the dealer world, dishonesty is not. Repeatedly one service writer would tell me I needed rear brakes then another service writer would say that I needed front brakes. I went for a 2nd opinion and needed NO NEW brakes. Shame on you!!

Had a great experience with Boyd GMC. Best dealership experience in a long time. Great people to deal with on purchasing a vehicle. I was in and out in 2.5 hours. They did have to come and get my truck a couple days later for some things I wanted done and things that was promised they would do. They brought me a nice loaner truck for two days. Nothing negative I can say. I give them 5 stars and looking forward to giving them a chance at servicing my truck.

We had an amazing experince thanks to Gary Cobb-Service Advisor. On our way to vacation, we experienced a serious problem with our vehicle, stopped in Emporia overnight, called service 7:30am and they had us in at 8am, and problem covered under warranty all fixed by 11:30am! Then back on the road!
