“Amazing service & kind humans. Not many want to or will work on a Mini Cooper. But Thompson Auto went above and beyond. I was expecting them just to check the basics and they sent us a full inspection with pictures. The best part is they didn’t only highlight what was wrong but also told us what wasn’t wrong. I want to tell you that Caliber Collision excels in customer service, communication, and auto repair. They are also amazing at handling the paperwork aspect of repairs with insurance companies.
The first encourage is with Kaitlin at the front desk. She is absolutely delightful and genuine and efficient. She makes you feel welcome when you walk in and cares about giving you the best service possible.
Dan, my service manager, was similarly professional and efficient and cared about getting the repairs done right. He was excellent in keeping me informed with text updates and phone calls when necessary.
When I dropped my truck off for repair, the team was even ready to take me to pick up a rental car when I thought I would have to wait.

Well Trans Auto Dynamics was able to fix it with a helicoil, and I was back on the road for only 300 bucks. Despite being late in the afternoon, the guys at Opal patched us up in roughly 15 minutes. They are extremely reasonable in pricing and will only fix what is actually needed. “You cannot beat the prices for new tires here. Being new to the area, I was always used to just ordering tires online, but I’ve heard great things about this place so I had to check them out myself. They went above and beyond and texted me some options for tires making the whole process seamless. I called on a Monday morning to order a new set of 4, and they were delivered just a few hours later to the shop. They called me and told me that I could come by whenever and they would get them installed! Came the next day and they were extremely quick, professional, honest, and clean. Definitely check out this shop if you’re in the need for new or used tires!”
“Had a few bad runs with some shops up here before finding this buisness. For those who dont know. While this business might be out of your way, its in what I would consider a very small area. With that said it has been in business for more than 40yrs. Everyone knows how small towns talk and it says alot that they have continued for this long. Obviously doing things right! Both cars now go here for everything. And while you might have to wait a few days to get seen. Its absolutely worth the wait.”

“After an accident that was not my fault my car was towed to Gilmores. It sat in their yard for almost 7 weeks while the insurance company slowly processed the claim due to lack of response from the other driver, who caused the accident. Needless to say during that time it accumulated a large storage fee. The insurance company only paid me a small amount on storage but by that time it had been sitting in there for seven weeks and I just needed to get the claim settled and get back in a vehicle. I talked with the manager Derek and he expressed that I had not received a fair deal from the insurance company, but that he was willing to work with me. A few days later, I was able to get everything settled with him, he was extremely fair and worked everything out with me when he could have just said that it wasn’t his problem. I will definitely be recommending Gilmores to anyone in the future, they are very honest and fair people to work with, and they really helped me out in a tough situation.”

“About a month ago we were on trip from NC to northern VA when we noticed a terrible rear axle seal leak on the rear of our 36 foot Class A motorhome. It was late afternoon and we couldn’t drive it any further, so we stopped at a rv park and started making phone calls. Long story short, we connected with Albert at JD Newman truck repair and he handled getting our unit towed to their shop the next morning. They had pre-ordered the part and had us back on the road by the afternoon. They even lent me a vehicle so my wife and I could go and get lunch as we weren’t towing a car. I can’t say enough good things about how professional and gracious they were to us. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing big truck or motorhome repairs in the area. A forever grateful customer!!”
