The WORST COMPANY I have ever dealt with!!!! I have been trying to get my DSL fixed since December 2022 and as of June 2023 I was told someone “dropped the ball” on my December work order and never fixed my issue. I was told we’d have priority in getting this fixed by the week of July 4th. As of today, August 13,2023 - my internet STILL doesn’t work. I called in to find out they claimed it was fixed as of August 9th and I had to start the entire ticket process over again. UNREAL!!! You took away Beam at 5mbps and can’t even get me 3mbps with stable connection (drops 17+ times a day!!!!)AWFUL COMPANY!!!

I was having some problems getting my billing straight. So I went in and the ladies at the front desk were beyond wonderful!!! They got everything fixed, and were just as nice as can be!!!

Horrible experience. Paying for 150mbps download and getting even less then 1mb, sometimes even 200kbps. Extremley slow and I recommend to avoid if possible.

Shentel installer/repair servce is the most INCOMPENTENT group I have ever dealt with! On Friday (17 May) they transfered a phone from one room to another room in a senior living facility--leaving without insuring that the patient who cannot even get out of bed on his own had a dial tone so he could speak to his children who are out of state on Father's Day. Sad that we have such poor service!

Horrible! Horrible! My internet cuts out at random times and I live in the center of town right next to the Shentel building. I go to school online and I need the internet. We pay for it with money we work hard for and it just does not work. They have come out to “fix” it multiple times after finally getting ahold of someone, but the same problem happens over and over. Not to mention it takes a few days for them to come out, so I am without internet for all that time. Very crooked business. There is evidently Comcast in the area and if this is true we are done with Shentel.

Never been so disgusted with a company in my life. I was lied to from very 1st day. Anybody who has this internet please run a speed check with speedtest.net. The lie they are selling is crazy and lied to my face about the speed. On their app its crazy fast. But in reality and on every other speed check its slower than comcast. I was even signed up for 1gb. I was told i needed a booster on my dining room table. What are u kidding me? Just lies from day 1 I trust comcast more at this point and that is very sad!!!! Also the deposit is yet to be paid back. Will be looking into this further because its been several weeks now. Such a scam!!!!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We have constant issues with shentel. We've set up the account to automatically draft the payment with a representative I don't know how many times, and there are never insufficient funds in the account, yet they never actually auto draft. Each time the rep tells us it is set up for auto pay, then 3 months later the internet disconnects because it hasn't been paid in 3 months, AND we get charged a reconnect fee we shouldn't have to pay because it's not our fault they didn't auto draft it as they said they would. They never call or email to tell us if it's late either. Obviously we disregard the paper statements because we assume it's auto paying, like shentel states it will. This company is the actual worst. Avoid them if you can. They get away with charging way too high for poor quality internet because they're the only internet available in my area.
