Obstructionist, domineering, rude staff. My expectations of USPS are low to begin with, and I fully recognize the challenges of working with the public. These folks are great at telling what they can't do and doing so in a manner to make patrons feel stupid. Horrible at informing you what they can do. Other nearby post offices are better; it's just this courthouse location.

The staff is way too small for this location. Takes 30 min just to get up to the front of the line.

My sister paid for expedited shipping I saw on the app it arrived to their facility the next day and it's been saying out for delivery for 3 days I called 3 times before getting and answer got hung up on and have called 6 times since and still haven't gotten an answer!

Terrible customer service. Jessica is extremely rude and condescending. Go to fedex or UPS. If you have to go to USPS pick a different location or wait longer for a different clerk. Some people are not meant for customer service - Jessica needs to find a new gig. Disappointment.

So, why would USPS say it's hiring, when its not? I did my fingerprints over 3 months ago & still nothing. If it takes 4 weeks max to get back results, then where do we go from here? If your going to waste my time,I need to be compensated for that. To have the audacity to say "we're hiring", then what? Have a potential hire wait past the allotted time? Either you need people or you don't. This should be considered "FALSE ADVERTISING".

Worst customer service ever. I have been seeing that my package was out for delivery for 3-5 days now. When I called the lady was extremely rude to me and said we have like 10k packages to look through and told me call back after 6pm. They close at 5pm WTF?! I will never use the Lazy A** USPS again!!! They are terrible.

Clean building. Nice staff. They go above and beyond to help with your needs. I have been here now for over 10 years and will not change post offices as long as I don’t have to. Easy in and out off a main road. Stop light on highway to turn on the road or come on through the town of Eastville and turn off on the main road.

This review is past due.. I visit this post office after hours at least four times a month or more. I love celebrating other people's birthday or sending package/gifts just put a smile on someone face. The post office's kiosk machine provides "Convenience", accept all major credit cards, easy to-use, 24-hour access, purchase stamps, weighting packages, priority shipping, next day shipping, all shipping labels... everything... No reason to stand in the long lines or Rushing to the post office before 5:00 closing time.

I work from home, so going to the post office is a regular thing for me. Each and every time I come here I am met with friendly staff. During the holidays the lines were long as usual, customers were impatient and sometimes rude- but the staff stayed friendly and professional working quickly to serve everyone. Most weekday afternoons there isn't a line, so service is speedy and quick. They always greet with a smile. Place is kept clean, and is in a beautiful area.

My certified mail was missing they never figure out what happen.The tracking history says- arrives at Norfolk usps regional facility at Dec 4, departed from there the same day, arrived at Virginia Beach Dec 5, the same day out for delivery, December 12 arrived at Richmond Va Distribution Center, December 13 arrived at Norfolk again? and Dec 13,,14,15 16 , 17,18,19 arrived at Norfolk and currently in transit to the destination since December 13 and went to Virginia Beach Dec 19 at 1:39 pm I called and talked to Ms. Jackson she told me my certified mail was there. I told her to hold my mail there and I will pick it up and she said sure they will hold the mail for me. I went there on Dec 20 at 8:30 talked to Ringo but they can't locate my certified mail and Ms. Jackson was not there. I have an updated email from USPS tracking system says my mail still there at 8:30 until 11 sometimes. I waited over an hour there, they can't locate my mail. I asked the person incharge which is Mr. Corce why my mail was sent back to Richmond Va, he can't explain. There's a big question about my mail that nobody can answer. I went home and received an email that it sent back to Richmond Va again for second time. What kind of public service is this. Virginia Beach?What's going on where is my certified mail? Stress more customers out. Good job list more mails.

I work on base so I'm spoiled by USPS at JEB - on point and genuinely care about customers. This location is my go to when I don't need to be on base. Management tries really hard to push lines faster BUT there is one particular employee that has "don't want to learn" attitude and somehow I get in her line every time. I'm sure this job is very stressful. All I can say is there are people who try at any job and there are some who are not...unfortunately those few who aren't, give bad rap to entire location.

Just arrived to this store today because I saw mu package arrived here at around 0800. I asked the female worker if she could check and see if my package was in the facility so I could sign for it now because I wasn't going to be home today or the next couple of days and didn't want to have to drive back to the facility to pick it up. She stated the mail person already organized their packages in their trucks and nothing more. I love the employees attempt to even walk in the back in look. As always excellent customer service. Right.

There is a lady here that is horrible and is most likely the manager. I went on the USPS website to do the forwarding of mail for each person in my household. I received the confirmation emails and the confirmation letters in both the old and new address. It mentioned that it might take 10 days to start forwarding mail. Weeks after the 10 days still no mail received as forwarded from my old address and mail was still being stuffed in the old mailbox. My wife went to the post office and was told that she had to tell the carrier to forward the mail and wouldn't even look things up in the system to find out when we put in for the forwarding. Basically this lady was telling us it was our fault. I called USPS and loved a complaint. It took about an hour to talk to someone but it was worth it. They took my complaint and information and in less than 24 hours a regional manager was calling me. She asked what was going on and then looked me up in their computer system and verified that things should be forwarding. When I told her about the comment from the lady with long frizzy hair that doesn't wear a uniform she was very irritated about her comments and attitude. The next day I started receiving messages trilingual me that things would now be forwarded and about five days later started receiving my forwarded mail. It doesn't end there with this lady with the long frizzy hair and no uniform. I went in to mail a package and there was a customer waiting to get her packages. When this "manager" came by the lady she was asked if she could go back there and get someone to come help her. The "manager" heard this, while on her cell phone, she stated she already told someone and would not do it again. The customer said she had been waiting for 20 minutes and the manager didn't care and refused to get off her cell and help or at the minimum go back and get someone to come help this lady. One of the ladies working at the counter said she would help the customer since she could see the "manager" would not. This lady with the long frizzy hair and no uniform needs to be fired or demoted. She clearly is inept at her job and knows nothing about customer service.
