“We visited our friends here and found the tire pressure dropping on the way to the friend's house. The friend told us that this is the one that they always see when passing by but never tried. We decided to try as this is the closest hope and it will be 5 pm soon. We walked in with a tire presseure at 13, Jeff was in. He lifted and took out the problematic tire, tested it, and found it was the vault problem. He replaced a new vault for us. He did all this within 7 minutes. We were charged 20 bucks. And we left in 15 minutes. I told Jeff that he will see my review soon and I typed when my husband is driving back. I feel Jeff is those plain, hard working, calm and kind handy men, and I deeply appreciated what he has done for us and shown us what Charlottesville is. I am even a little bit jealous that Charlottesville has such an auto place. Please go to him if you have any problems with your car, not walmart or costco. He is reliable and you will not be over charged.”
“I took my 2018 F150 to Masters Auto Body to have some gunk that had gotten on the chrome and paint removed. Now this was not a easy job because I had worked on it for two days straight and had made very little progress. Jeff looked it over and quoted me a price of $60 dollars and I took it back the next day for him to do the work. I gave them a call later that evening and was told that they needed more time and kept it another day which was fine with me. I went to pick it up expecting to pay more than the estimate because of the extra work but was told that I only owed the estimated amount even with the extra time and work. Now that is something you don't see every day, a business that stands behind their word and work and the truck looks like it came off the showroom floor at the dealership. I recommend Master Auto Body for all body work and will use them again in the future.”

“Just moved to Charlottesville and went here to get my safety inspection done. I emailed to schedule an appointment and showed up first thing in the morning. The inspections take about 30-45min and I opted to wait. There is a great little waiting area with snacks, coffee, and tea. Free WiFi and a public computer if you need. Sadly I ended up waiting 2 hours, but I didn’t have anywhere I needed to be so it was ok. When I checked out, they were very apologetic for the wait and waived the inspection fee for me.
Overall great service, kind people, and nice waiting area. I will be returning!”

“I have gotten my last 3 or 4 sets of tires here, Had a radiator replaced a couple of years ago and they fixed my tie rods and alignment. They will try to fix something if they can, rather than just replace and run a bill up. They seem honest and pretty quick. Will be going back. 2010 Sequoia”

“I own Charlottesville Gutter Pros and our shop is right next door to Jenkins. What a gift!! They service our entire fleet: Fords, Nissans, Chevy, and even our staff’s personal vehicles. I love their hours (open at 7am, open till late, and open Saturday) and they maintain a pretty fast turnaround most of the time. We haven’t had any negative experiences since we started 2022. Their office staff are sharp and on the ball. Very grateful for Jenkins and I recommend them!”

“University Tire & Auto on Airport Road worked an absolute miracle for me. We’re from Detroit and were driving into town for a wedding when, just a mile-and-a-half from our hotel destination, a fire hose fell off the back of a fire truck and three of us behind it ran over a coupling and destroyed our rims. This occurred late on a Thursday afternoon. So early Friday morning I went to Malloy Ford to see if they could get me a new rim, and they weren’t able to get one until the next week. That didn’t work because I had to be back on the road to Detroit on Sunday…I had to testify in a trial on Monday, so I had no flexibility. They referred me to University Tire. I dropped the car off there, and the rim couldn’t be fixed, so they started checking around town for one. The closest rim available was at a junkyard 100 miles away, so they cheerfully went and got it and had my car done by the end of the day. Keith was amazing to work with…he understood our big predicament and worked like hell to help us out. I cannot say enough about Keith and his crew there, and offer my unconditional recommendation if you are considering them for service on your car.”

“We had purchased our tires from Costco about 2 years ago and they offer free tire rotation and repair. We discovered a slow leak so stop in without an appointment but they fit us in and rotated and balanced the tires in addition to fixing the leak. Great efficient service. I was able to watch them balance and mount the tires. Not many repair shops have windows that allow you to watch them work. I also heard them explaining tire options to customers and they did not try to up sell or push a specific brand.”
“Went in last week to inquire about (long-overdue) new tires for my 2009 Honda CRV, and was helped by LT. He was so understanding of my tight budget as a teacher, and steered me towards a great sale that was happening this week on a highly-rated set of Goodyears. Had my appt today, and was in and out in less than 2 hours with great customer service from LT and his team. Thanks guys! “Incredible experience! From the beginning as I sent emails asking for quotes on tires, the responses were quick and detailed. Adam was so helpful, kind, and informative. He offered great guidance in helping me decide on the tires. When I dropped off my vehicle to get the services I opted for, I received a call from Brandon and he was the same.....so helpful, kind and informative. There were some issues that were found with my car that needed attention (brake fluid, battery, etc.) and he explained all of them without any pressure at all for me to have these corrected while they had my car. I did not feel as though I was being hassled to do any of the suggested replacements (I did go ahead with some of them). He took time when I picked up the car to answer questions I had about my upcoming inspection as well. I was very pleased with the service I received and will recommend University Tire and Auto to others as well as continue using them for myself in the future (although I hope not to have car issues anytime soon).”

Roger just happened to be there picking up his mail and he jumped right in offering his help. He got my van running so I could drive it to his shop, then got my battery replaced in less than 30 minutes. Quick service, fair pricing, and very personable!”
