Came in on to look into volunteering opportunities. This place is a quiet, friendly, no kill, non-profit organization. Everyone there seems to love pets and care for them deeply. I plan on volunteering soon!

Everyone that I met here was so welcoming and helpful. I adopted an adorable pet from here and I'm so thankful to all who helped make the process so easy.

First and foremost, we are animal lovers and protectors.
The P. W. Humane Society mission began in Oct. 2012, as a non-profit fundraising organization dedicated to saving lives and advocating for homeless animals in Prince William County. We have recently expanded our mission to assist other small animal rescue organizations throughout the State of Virginia. We support our various programs through individual donations, business sponsorships, and virtual and online fundraising events.
Our brand new Homeless Animals Support Network (HASN) program grants monies to underfunded shelters and small rescues to help the most vulnerable animals in underserved communities. You can learn more about HASN and our other programs by visiting our website!
