Good stay but miss the cookies. They said no more cookies due to co-vid, which is inconsistent with all other Hampton Inns. Co-vid is over and after driving for many hours to arrive there, would really appreciate Dumfries Hampton Inn re instituting the cookie policy like all the other Hampton Inns. That is why we pick Hampton Inn over a different property. Thanks much! Otherwise it was a good stay and we recommend it.Food & drinks: Montclair Family Restaurant is walking distance and is excellent. Thank you Eric at front desk for this recommendation!

I am a member of BNI, and we use this location to hold our weekly meeting. The staff are amazing, the facility is always clean, overall great atmosphere.

Hampton Inn is a brand that I've been with for many years. This was the first time that I've experienced a full grown German Shepherd's presence in the kitchen and dining area. It was obvious that the animal was not trained. It was appalling. I understand pet friendly and service animals, etc.; however, I feel that animals should be trained and NOT in the kitchen where all guests gather. This is a sanitary concern for me. I was extremely disappointed and concerned for my safety. All other areas of the stay were satisfactory.

Spotless rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff.Nearby activities: Close to the Tank Farm, and much less expensive than staying in Manassas.Food & drinks: Eat at El Paso, which is within a short walk.

The hotel itself is a bit tired / unkept. The service seemed inconsistent as there were several disgruntled guests in the lobby. The location is not ideal, numerous homeless and drug users surrounding the parking lot and living in the grassy areas. Would not feel safe here for long. The bathroom had cracked and missing caulk and worn cabinetry. The fitness room equipment didn't face the wall television and none of the equipment had built-in screens.

The hotel is feels old, it's grimy, and smelly. The smell of the whole place reminds me of apartments with old carpet and the unwashed dogs. Everything in the room is there but is heavily worn and dinged up. It's got the feel of a place that was nice, before 9/11.

Rooms were clean. bed nice and clean. Tight sheets which I love. Breakfast was good. Breakfast host was very friendly and nice. Staff was friendly.

When we arrived everything was great, but when asked to house keeping they failed to meet our needs. After asking 4 different times no one came, told my wife and I to come to the desk to get towels and wash rags, trash.over flowed in our room until we physically brought a housekeeper to get trash out of room. Not good service at all. Pool was ok, hot tube semi works. Location across from homeless living area. I would recommend the holiday in express across the road for a better price and service.Safety: Maintenance did fire alarm test in rooms and ours failed, so if there was a fire ir smoke it would not go off.

The rooms are clean and nice, the bathroom is a little cramped. I prefer the Hampton inn in Stafford, but it depends on your needs.Safety: The area outside the hotel doesn't feel very safe. A lot of foot traffic. Had two people ask for money within 3 minutes of walking outside.Walkability: Waffle house and cracker barrel within walking distance.

Despite Diamond status, I was not given any of the standard services that com with it. No high speed Wi-Fi, clerk didn’t attach my Honors member status to my reservation, was not given the standard welcome basket, she talked to her boyfriend on the phone while checking me in.
