I ordered a product from a Ukrainian seller to give my support. I’m moving overseas, so I had the package addressed to a former roommate & to a place I used to stay at. My ID doesn’t have an address that I live at anymore because I’m moving overseas. I’ve ordered a couple of things from Ukraine & haven’t had this problem until my most recent package. They refused to send it, even though I talked to customer service on the phone three times, & a person said it was an error on their end. They said they sent it to the wrong post office & was having it transferred. Then I got a notice saying it was getting returned to sender because it wasn’t a valid address. I confirmed on all three calls to verify that the name & address is correct. This package is $300.

This is probably one of my favorite post offices. The facilities are very well-maintained the machines are all operational and the staff is very friendly and personable I've never had an issue with getting anything sent and they were very accommodating when I needed to have my mail redirected when I was new to the area so I highly recommend them. PLEASE be patient and respectful to the staff, I've experienced some pretty rude customers unnecessarily raising their voices to the staff.
The parking situation isn't too great, spaces are quite limited and the parking lot runs the length of the building so people tend to congregate near the entrance the only issue issue with the parking as a result of lazy or impatient people.
Lastly, they have great hours of operation!

The passport agency tried to reach me several times via letter in order to tell me what to fix with my application, and usps kept returning to sender. I found this out 2 weeks before my trip out of the country so I had to scramble to get my passport fixed. 1/10

The most horrible experience with this branch staff. Very rude. Never helpful. Treating customers in disrespect. Front desk and manager the worst ever.

They tried to deliver medications when I was not home. They didn't leave any notification that they had been there and I have been trying to track down the medication. I was informed they were at this distribution center and tried calling several times. It says to hold, rings a few times then it hangs up on you. This is absolutely absurd.

USPS failed on every level. The mailman and supervisor are liars. One says I requested my package held when I watched the mailman throw 2 little packages at my front door and drive off. I was on the phone and told my friend watch he forgot my 3rd package and the request to be held comes in as my other 2 packages were marked delivered. Then it’s ready for pick up but the mailman hasn’t come back. He could rang the door bell but I guess 2 steps were too much. Then the supervisor says oh the package didn’t have enough postage interesting then it made it to 4 distribution centers and nobody caught it. I wish they could just be honest and be accountable for their shortcomings.

Passport services. Man took my birth certificate and never returned it. Been 30yrs since I've had a passport. No idea why, assumed maybe I'd get it back with passport. NOPE! Passport came today, no birth certificate. Been calling Post office for 2hrs non-stop. NO ONE HAS ANSWERED. Wonder why USPS services are shrinking. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Delivered while raining. 2 more feet. 2 more feet and it would have been out of the rain completely. Would have been ruined in 2 more minutes. 2 more feet is 2 much to ask apparently. Not the 1st or even 2nd time, and so this time you get a review.Sometimes the universe's timing is impeccable. Picture 1 - USPS. Picture 2 - Private sector delivery that happened WHILE WRITING THIS REVIEW! LOL

Excellent service. There was no wait time and long lines at 11am on a Saturday during the busy Christmas season. In and out in 2 minutes or less. Convenient location with plenty of parking.

I always try to use the Post Office in Sterling Virginia even though it is further away than the one on Prentice Drive as the people in Sterling are friendly and courteous.I made the mistake going to Prentice Drive and came across a rather rude employee Inhae who proceeded to loudly tell me not to write the FROM address the way I have written for years. Then she proceeded to use the meter postage to wrap around my letter in a way Sterling never does. I hope it is delivered.Needs coaching
