Installed 2 Heat Pump units in my Multifamily Home[Massachusetts] last year without backup heat and this thing is a champ. This year when the temperature went to like 10 and no problem.1. Compared to Mitsubishi/LG/Bosch- The COP at 5 is much better and really efficient- Noise levels is similar to the popular brands- 10 year Parts and Labor warranty is not a joke- I can go on and on …….2. Installing 3 more this year in my new placeNew company so people seem hesitant plus not much stuff online but this heat pump is the real deal.

We recently built a new modular log home. We initially wanted to go with a heat pump system, but almost went to propane after receiving several outrageous quotes of nearly $40,000. Also, several plumbers tried to convince us that a heat pump system wouldn't work well in our area (Massachusetts).A work client of mine recommended an installer and after meeting with him.. he suggested we look at the Ecoer system. Boy am I glad we came across this system. Its been working fantastically since it was installed in August 2021. We are now into January.. and the system is working flawlessly. We are currently in single digit temps and our home is warm and comfortable. We're expecting near zero temps tomorrow and I'm not the least bit concerned about our house staying warm. Also, we have not yet had to use the heating element.I'd highly recommend the Ecoer system. I've even done a couple of YouTube video reviews on it. Its a great system.

Beware of vampire power consumption of idle units. We were disappointed to learn that our 3T unit will draw 100w 24/7 while sitting idle during the cold months. "Cold" being anything less than 60 according to Ecoer support. This equates to about an extra $7.50/mo just for the unit to be plugged in. Frustrating because a) these are billed as an energy efficient solution and b) our mini-split which is rated to -15F does not do this. All that said, Ecoer support was fairly responsive in explaining what was happening. At this time we have not had the unit long enough to weigh in on its cooling performance.

I replaced a tired Lennox 4 Ton, XP25 that was starting to get loud and struggling to heat my home when the outdoor temps dropped below 30 degrees. I was told that the Ecoer has much better cold climate performance and would work with my existing furnace and evaporator coil. With the cost of propane increasing and no relief in sight, I decided to have a 5 TON Ecoer installed. The nice thing about the 5 TON Ecoer is that it is perfectly compatible with any indoor system that is 3 TON or higher - the mismatch helps provide better heating performance on really cold days. I installed it in July of 2021 and have experienced both extremes. The AC performance seemed a little bit better than the Lennox and humidity control remained the same. What really impressed me was the winter performance. The air comes out of the vents about 5 degrees warmer and it held indoor temperature much deeper into the winter. With my old Lennox unit, the indoor temp would start to drop when the outdoor temp dropped below 28 degrees. This forced me to use mostly propane for a good 2 months. The Ecoer unit made it all the way down to 11 degrees before the indoor temp started to drop! It gets a little noisy below 15 degrees running at max speed and can be heard indoors but we got used to it. It's not obnoxious but its certainly not nearly silent like it is in the summer. Either way, I'll take that over high propane costs and I like that fact that it's not spewing greenhouse gasses into the environment.I'm only 1 year in but I'm very happy with the performance. It's size is nice too - nearly half the size of the unit it replaced and easier to hide. I'm very satisfied! The included picture is of the existing Lennox control system with the furnace locked out. We were able to integrate the Ecoer heat pump into my Lennox system utilizing all of the existing indoor equipment and controls. As you can see, at 12 degrees outside, the Ecoer still produced almost 95 degree air!

I like the technology but they subcontract their customer service and warranty claims to NEMAS International and very unresponsive and lack of follow through.

We live in the greater Montreal area (very hot in summer and very cold in winter) and had the Ecoer system (heat pump EODA 18H-2436 and air handler EAHATN-24) installed in September 2020 to replace our old oil fueled heating system. After a bit more than 1 year of use, we could not be more happy and consider it one of the best purchases for our house ever. Our house is a bungalow with basement of 102 m2 (1100 square feet) per floor. We are cool in summer and warm in winter, with great air quality (no high or low humidity, always between 40 and 60%), while we save enormously on costs: a full year of oil fueled heating compared to a full year of Ecoer heating+cooling, our electricity bill increased only by 650$ CAD (meaning that is what we pay for heating and cooling in 1 year!). Consider that we used to pay 2,200$ CAD for oil alone per year and you can see the huge savings! Also, during winter we used the air exchanger heating element only a few days (when temperature dropped below -22C). Our installer said he could change the setting to have the heat pump still heat up to -29C, so we are looking forward to check this out in the coming winter. With the 10year warranty on parts AND labor, this is a great deal, and we would recommend it to anyone considering a heat pump system.Services: Heating system installation

I purchased a new home in the fall of 2019. The HVAC company installed one of the new energy efficient variable ECOER units. Within a month they had to come back and replace a faulty fan. Now roughly a year and a half of having the system my AC doesn't work. (Of course when temps finally got really hot) When the unit works it is very good but at this point the system is unreliable. I made contact with my HVAC installers and they came out on a Sunday to assess the issue. They then had to come back again when they could get ECOER tech support. They were told it was a bad sensor. We had to wait several days for an inverter board to be sent because that was supposedly the problem. Once it came in the HVAC company came back and installed. They got up with ECOER tech support and then were told the compressor is also bad. Insert the Memorial Day Holiday and I am now still without AC for 9 days and waiting on a part to come in tomorrow. So that is the poor product review. Now to the customer service portion. My wife called on Friday and spoke with Daniel and she asked for his supervisor. She was then put on hold for 20min while he tried to contact his supervisor only to be told he was in a meeting and would have to call us back. She called again prior to their closing time and was on hold for 15min then received an automated message that it was outside business hours and the line was disconnected. I then called today and spoke with a gentleman about my unit and asked to speak to a manager. I was connected with Ansy and spoke to him about wanting another unit as this one has been repaired many times. He said they don't replace units unless they have a catastrophic failure. Basically my unit would have to have every element fail prior to getting another unit installed. All of this and ECOER also doesn't foot the bill for the labor. I have two children under the age of 3 and had family members come from 100's of miles away for the week to see our new child and we had no AC while inside temps were in the low 80's. My wife and I are beyond disappointed that we are stuck with a lemon unit and still haven't had anything resolved. I would stay away from this company and go somewhere else for your next HVAC unit purchase.

I purchased an ECOER Heat Pump System and it was the worst purchase I have ever made. The unit does not control humidity and is not energy efficent. The equipment was installed on 28 June 2020 and for 90 days I have continued to experience humidty levels of 65% and over. The last week it has been 73%. In addition, I have to keep the house so cold to off set the humidity that my electric bill is higher. The windows are geting moisture on the inside and I am sure this is not healthy. Do NOT purchase any of this equipment. The only response to the problem is the technician keeps turning the fan down. The last visit they turned the fan lower and moved some wires. No difference. Very disappointed. Don't believe the web page or the mission statement from this company.

We installed our new unit in June 2019. Thus far we have had nothing but a positive experience, from the contractor who installed it to the unit, to the wireless thermostat.. Totally in love with it!!

So far everything it is working the way is suppose to. I have notice the savings of a few klws of electricity and Its very quiet. The only thing that I like to see is more technicians that can deal with this equipment. Other than that we are very please whit our system and will recommend it to any one who need a new one.

I have retrofitted two R-22 heat pump systems in my own home about a year ago now with the High efficiency Ecoer condensing units. I flushed out my evaporator and line sets, installed r-410A tx valves, replaced the filter driers, evacuated and charged up the systems according to mfg instructions.I an so happy with these units. I used them all last winter . My home was warm, the electric bill was low and I am totally satisfied. I thought I would try them out before I start selling them. I cannot say enough praise! There is even an app that will let you monitor all of the operating conditions , it even alerts you of problems. I am a licensed refrigeration technician with 22 years in the HVAC/R industry and I highly recommend the Ecoer
