This is a perfect spot for a dog show, but get your Starbucks on the way here. It's in the middle of nowhere with only a few options for food and drink.

I appreciate them but not a great place for a gun show when it is so close to richmond.

We are in line for the Christmas light show and have been creeping along for 2.5 hours with no way out. This is the worst run event ever at this park. Cars are running out of gas. Piss poor planning and managed. Do not come here!!!

Was absolutely beautiful as always!! They should have stricter rules on people turning their lights out because we had to ask the truck behind us to turn them down several times, and their lights really ruined our enjoyment. The staff even asked him to them off or at least back off of us. That didn't work. That was the only issue.

My family and I had an incredible time at the Virginia State Fair! The fairgrounds were exceptionally well kept and thoughtfully organized, making our visit a breeze. There was no shortage of food and drink concessions, offering a delicious array of options to satisfy everyone's cravings. For the thrill-seekers in our group, the rides were a big hit, especially with the teenagers. The variety and excitement of the rides were simply outstanding.I'd like to offer a pro tip: Purchase your tickets before you arrive and don't miss out on the unlimited wristbands. They are worth every penny, as buying ride tickets onsite can quickly add up to several hundred dollars. For more details and to plan your visit, check out their informative website: [Virginia State Fair Website](statefairva.org). Don't pass up the chance to experience the Virginia State Fair--it's a fantastic outing for the whole family!

I attended the meadow event park for a beer, bourbon, bbq fest. Thankfully the event was inside because it was a hot day. The people working the event were kind, not very helpful, but they tried to help and were pleasant to interact with. There were not enough chairs and tables to eat. Also not much offering for handicap attendees. There were not enough water hydration stations throughout the venue or least many full with water. The event was pretty chaotic, not very organized. Parking was wherever you found outside, no one directing the parking area. The venue also lacked providing vendor labeling or an event map. I wouldn't attend this venue again for another festival because my experience was eh, nothing to rave about.

THE WORST CONCERT VENUE IN RVA- wait to exit is interminable and tonight basically a free for all because they were so slow to let folks exit creating an epic backup (i average several shows a month so have realistic expectations, it was easier to exit LOCK'N than this place.) my third show here and never again, i don't care who is booked. If you have never been fyi there is no shade , nor enough loos. Hit the VACU venue, Browns Island, etc. BOOKERS please stop supporting this venue, send your talent elsewhere

I was so excited to discover a small concert venue not too far from home! I enjoyed how easy the parking situation was, plus it was free! There were many places to buy food and drinks, but only one merchandise tent which was at least 100 people long. However, I was not prepared for the bathroom situation. While I did expect port-a-potties, I did not expect there to be so few. The concert I was at had thousands of people, but there were about 30 bathrooms total. The line was so long that my friend and I upgraded to the "VIP" section, which had private bathrooms. Sadly, that only meant 2 stalls for the couple hundred people that had also upgraded. During the concert, someone puked in the bathroom and they closed the bathrooms completely and I had to go to the regular line, which was even longer at that point and caused me to miss about 20 minutes of the concert. When I tell you there were fights happening in the bathroom lines, I am not exaggerating. That night, there was really bad rain, and aside from the mud everywhere, there were also men peeing out in the open near the bathrooms, so it was a combination of mud and urine. I had really high hopes for this venue, and I will consider going again, but there has to be a way to make the environment much better.

Was here for a high school graduation. Staff were helpful and had immediate answers for any questions. It was a little warm inside, but you know... June. Virginia. Big barn style building. It was as good as it could have been.

Great venue for dog show. Came in my RV for two weekends of shows. RV sites near building are limited with full hookups, so arrive early. There is a campground at the end of the parking lot with full hookups but it's quite a walk to the building. It was going to be rainy the first weekend I was here so I opted to stay closer to the building but then had to pick up and move to a different site on Monday so that I could have sewer and not have to dump again while I was here.Dog show is in the Farm Bureau building. Rings are nicely sized and quite a bit of Grooming around the outside walls. Concession vendor had some Seafood options on the menu but almost everything on the menu was deep fried unfortunately.13039 Dawn Blvd is a better address for your GPS to come in Gate 3 on Chenery Lane. The 13191 Dawn Blvd address took me across the highway to Gates 4 and up.

We hosted an event last year successfully no problem. Fast forward to this year total disappointment. We had a date for this year but were not able to move forward due to several issues. Marlene at first answered calls, emails and text to reschedule our event. She has since ignored every form of communication in an attempt to secure a new date. We call the office the representative says this date looks like it’s available. She informs us she will leave Marlene a message to get back to us to confirm. Of course that has yet to happen. I texted Marlene’s cellphone on 4/28/23 and we have since emailed. She has responded to none of our communications. If you are attempting to use rent this venue make sure life doesn’t happen and things don’t change. If they do prepare to get radio silence from Marlene…who apparently is the manager and only person who can schedule.
