“We picked up a nail in our tire on I-95 while headed towards Ashland for a sports tournament. We had no idea where to take the car to get the tire repaired since we were from out of town. I searched near our hotel and found that Ashland Garage had great ratings and I can now see why! They were very busy but we only had a short window of time to get the flat repaired before the tournament started. The manager, Jeremy, kindly fit us in and his girl fixed the flat quickly but also did a great job on it, and she returned the donut to the bottom of the vehicle for us, which was not a courtesy we have received at every garage on the past. He then didn’t even charge us for the repair! Ashland garage made a stressful situation much easier for us. Would give more than 5 stars if I could!”

“I spent a couple of weeks online looking for the truck I wanted. I found this dealership on GMC website. I have to say hands down the best experience buying a vehicle I have ever had. Mike Gordon was so accommodating and accessible. We literally had the deal done via text in about 30 minutes to an hour and two days later he drove the truck me and picked up my trade and drove it back. Unbelievable service and Mr Gordon absolutely rocks. So nice to have good people to work with without fear of being screwed over!!!”

“We recently (4 days ago) decided to look at Jeeps for my wife. We found one that was located at Whitten Brothers Ashland. We were contacted by James Kinney and it was all she wrote. For such a young person, he was very pleasant to work with and very well mannered and respectful. We knew he was a little overwhelmed/excited/anxious, etc but he did a fine job. His communication is excellent and if he didn't know something, he made sure to get the answers back to me ASAP. Tony - the manager was great and very knowledgeable and personable as well. Lastly, Brandy the finance manager was top notch. The staff is nice and awesome to work with and that is why we went and purchased a beautiful 2021 Firecracker Red Jeep 4Xe Unlimited Sahara. We will definitely go back even though they are 35-40min away. My wife and I highly recommend Whitten Brothers of Ashland!!!!!!!!”
“I cannot say enough good things about River City Customs! I have a problem-child Mustang (highly modified and supercharged) that had begun turning off at highway speeds. I called RCC for information and a possible appointment. The gentleman I spoke with provided me an over-the-phone diagnosis, as well as a test I could perform for verification *at no charge*. His suspicions were correct: my cam position sensors were failing. I was able to easily replace these components, and now my car runs like a top!”

“Recently my family and I were traveling west on I 64 heading back home to Tennessee when our Mazda suddenly lost power. The car entered "limp mode" and we slowly navigated to the nearest exit. A quick Google search for an auto repair center brought up Mac's Tire Pros and Auto Repair in Troy. Though they were all booked up with appointments, they graciously made time to determine what was wrong (ignition coil), secure the part and make the repair. They went the extra mile to get us back on the road and I am grateful for all of their help! If you are in their area I would go to them for your auto needs.”

“We were traveling to South Carolina and experienced issues with our breaks. We safely made it to Ashland in the middle of the night. The next morning we went to Blaine’s and explained the issue and that we were our way to SC. Blaine’s had our vehicle in their shop, diagnosed the issue and repairs done in less than two hours. The price was reasonable and fair. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we could continue on our trip. We cannot express our gratitude enough. Ashland is lucky to have a company like yours. “I had a flat tire and had to drive on it. Thought my sidewalls were shot from that.
They said they'd check to see if it could be repaired...I was fully prepared to have to replace.
Turned out to have two punctures, one a wood screw don't know what put the other hole in it. Both repairable. Saved me from having to buy a tire. Charged me for one and a half patches...because it was only one tire/two holes.
I was in and out in about an hour and around $65 and had friendly conversation while waiting.”

“They were kind and helped us out when we were in a bad situation. We were in the middle of a road trip and ran over some debris in the road. We didn't know what the extent of the damage was and we wanted a professional to look at the car to confirm we were safe to continue driving. They were booked for the day (like every other mechanic in town) but agreed to stop what they were doing to lift up the car and look at it. We were able to continue our trip knowing the car was safe to drive.”
“There are good people Cauthorne's Auto and Tire! I have a "well aged" 2011 328i - X-Drive BMW.... I'm sure this is a relatively obscure tire model (and unsurprisingly.... expensive to replace). My back left driver side "run flat tire" blew out on I-95 South on the way back from Northern Virginia to Richmond, VA... and I managed to "limp in" in spite of a huge gash that opened up in the tire for unknown reasons. Cauthorne's Auto and Tire (Ashland, VA) was able to find this relatively obscure tire and had me back up and running in only a couple days. The price Cauthorne's charged for the replacement tire and their cost of service was commendably fair and honest. It is refreshing to have experiences that confirm there are still good, fair, and honest people. (I even asked if it would make sense to go ahead replace both of the back tires... and Cauthorne's gave honest advice and said that all of my other tires looked to be in good shape and didn't think replacing any of the other tires was necessary at this time). Cauthorne's had impressively timely service.... it was a great experience overall!**** Also, thank you to the kind people (and especially the store manager) at Advanced Auto Parts - 307 S. Washington Hwy, Ashland, VA who were kind enough to give advice and recommend Cauthorne's Tire and Auto (1.3 miles away... just away on Rt 1).Conor Jones - October - 2023”
