Worst company to work with EVER!!!!!! After fighting with them for months about charges that shouldn't have been charged they finally fill the gas and we are now dealing with a leak from when they filled it. If you have another option never do business with this company!!!!! They are unreliable and crooks!!!!!!
Update. The tech came out for the leak and found 2 more leaks. One was on the AmeriGas equipment and another somewhere else. Now tell me how the last 3 times they have filled the tanks (which were empty cause they have never put a guage on the tanks that we requested numerous times) they never found these leaks? Because none of the 3 techs that came out here ever did a leak test. WORTHLESS PEOPLE!!!! Thank you AmeraGas for putting our family in danger for the last 2 years by your people not doing their job WITH ACTIVE LEAKS ON OUR SYSTEM. Needless to say those tanks left our property today and we will never use this company again. Now the fun part of trying to get the money back for the gas that was just put in the tanks 2 weeks ago.

This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. They charge outrageous prices; charge $200 to remove the tank that belongs to them; do not show up for deliveries that are scheduled; do not communicate for any delivery changes; and it is impossible to speak with anyone without going through another country. Avoid this company.

I own multiple properties and deal with many different utility companies. Stay away from Amerigas. They doubled the amount of propane that needs to be purchased yearly to avoid the tank rental fee without notice. The first time I disputed they said they were waiving the charge and gave me a reference number. The charge was not waived only a small amount. When you call you are dealing with overseas customer service and they are hard to understand. They now say they can't waive the tank rental. And request for a supervisor was not answered. Stay away from this company go with a local gas supplier.

Professional landlord, I deal with many service providers. Run. Run as far as you can from this company. Horrific customer service, you will have missed deliveries, service appointments, and more random fees than you can possibly imagine. You’re better off going without utilities than utilizing their service. Many competitors in the area - use any of them over AmeriGas.

Called Amerigas for delivery on December 23rd. Delivery was set up for January 3rd. Phone call January 3rd stating my delivery would come on the 4th. It is now 6:40 pm and no delivery. My mom called on December 27th. She received her delivery today and lives 15minutes from me. I am done. Done with the poor service. Done with the fact you talk to someone who have no clue what is going on. It is a centralized answering service who just tells you anything to make you happy. I will be calling in the morning and having them come get their tank that we have to pay a ridiculous tank fee for. I will find a company who appreciates my business! Amerigas you have the worse customer service and should just go out of business

Set up a new account to have service provided, bad choice. Had scheduled to have a service technician come out to start the process for my new account, I had made it very clear to the representative at that time that the day that they had available appointments I had to be at work that afternoon so the appointment would have to be in the morning. Was told that was fine ,they would be there between 10:30 and 12. Well they was a no show.,no call,no information. I called to ask what was the issue and was told the technician will call you in a few minutes. Never did.They have already lost my business before service could even start.. Now I understand why it was such a long wait for an appointment with the competition, they are busy handling the people that are frustrated with the lack of service and respect from Amerigas.

If you ever wonder just how bad a company can get, try Amerigas. These people are the most useless, rude, and incompetent going. I've been with them for 3 years. Signed up for the Never Run Out deal, which means I've run out 2 years in a row. After the last fill up and I let them know I'd call when it's empty and they can come get their tank. That was 45 days ago when I called, wild guess whose tank is still next to my house. Seriously tempted to tie the tank to the bank of my F-150 and drag it to their office, I'm willing to bet at least half of the tank will grind off before I get there. Now all of this has not stopped them from sending bills for the tank rental and late charges since I refuse to pay until they pick up their damn tank. Well, I haven't sued anyone in a few years, guess I'll have to go back to the courthouse.

Many of my Dinwiddie VA friends have not gotten their regular scheduled deliveries and are without PROPANE and Electricity. Sad situation for all of them. Unacceptable not to take care of the people. ?

One of the most incompetent companies I've ever dealt with. I only get delivery once a year, but somehow they screw it up every time. This year they didn't even show up to bring the gas, yet they add 600 gallons on my account for over $1,400. Three times I've contacted them to remove the charge and bring me some gas (under 30% now) to no avail. They never follow-up as promised.In past years, I've dealt with over-charges, incorrect rental fees, and more. Always takes several calls to get it straight. Unreal!UPDATE: It's been a month and now I'm getting 'past due' letters for gas they NEVER DELIVERED. I can't get anyone to respond to emails, physical letters, phone calls...unbelievable!

If you can find ANY propane supplier besides Amerigas use them. This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I'm on auto delivery and they let my tank go empty (which they guaranteed would never happen with auto delivery) 4 months without any delivery. We ran out. (Of course it happened on a Saturday on the coldest weekend of the year when we have no power) Guarantee says if by some chance you run out you get emergency delivery that day. Amerigas refused to deliver the day I called them & called me back the next day to follow up to tell me they were refusing to deliver that day too. They refuse to give me any information on when I can expect a delivery. AND to top it all off because they let the tank run empty I now have to have a pressure check on my tank that requires me to be home when they deliver whenever they decide that is gonna be.

If ya see a younger or fatter version of 2 white females we prolly thick as thieves in the night
