I currently am the Admissions Coordinator for Riverside. The team here work great together and the floor staff work hard to make sure they meet all their patients needs. Our Therapy Department has a reputation of getting the skilled patients ready to go home as safe and soon as possible.

Jennifer, the Activities Director, does an outstanding job in her department. She wears many hats at times but you can tell she really enjoys what she does and has the residents engaged and happy. :)

Unprofessional staff. Around 1:45am on Nov. 11th during a med delivery I encountered a incorporative member of staff named Richard Bell.At first he refused to sign for the meds. He stated that "he runs everything" and "he doesn't have to sign anything". The experience was rather bizarre.I told him this was procedure. He didn't seem to care. He appeared like he was under the influence. No need for that type of behavior.

I have had several family and friends to stay here over the years and your family member will be well taken care of. It does help to stop by and see your family member on a regular basis though. I can't give them five stars because I have seen the best of nursing homes and Riverside is not perfect but they will work with you and your family to provide the best care. But if you are looking for a place to simply enroll your loved one and leave this is not it.I visited just yesterday and the place kept and smelled nice which is comforting

Our loved one was there for therapy...the physical therapist is the only thing going for this facility. Every single time one of us went there was an issue, from nursing staff watching TV on her phone while doing meds, to dirty beds linens, not answering call bells, promises to handle things that never were handled, not bathing or dressing him, CNA shoving food in his face, the lists goes on and on. He was there for 35 days and it was horrible. Repeatedly went to DON for assistance, no one takes responsibility for anything, just pass the buck. If your loved one is there...be present...daily...at different times. Advocate for the care they need and deserve bc the staff sure wont!
