Great store, helpful staff

Every appliance in our home is a Whirlpool and every Whirlpool we bought from Lowe's. We have had no problems until now. We recently purchased a cook top and paid for the 5 year warranty and installation. After the install was complete the installer turned on every eye just long enough to see it start turning red. Four days later when my wife put a pot on after about 5 minutes she noticed that the eyes were off center by a full ch. She immediately turned the stove off and we went directly to Lowe's. They directed us to Whirlpool because after 48 hours they are not responsible. Whirlpool sent a technician out and he immediately noticed multiple broken parts and an electrical safety issue. Whirlpool now wants to FIX the stove but there is still a problem. Because the burners are off center it caused a cosmetic flaw. It insults me that Lowe's and Whirlpool want me to have a blemished stove that I paid new product price for. It should be both company's policy to replace instead of repair especially when the product was damaged on delivery. Lowe's got paid for the appliance but disregard my inconvenience and frustration. This is NOT the way to treat a long standing customer and certainly not the way to treat a valued return customer.

Sometimes what I need feels like a needle in a haystack, but with Lowe's if you go in line first type in the search engine your item, it will pull a SKU# take that number into the store to a staff member, they all have hand held devices, to enter that SKU #, it will take you to the exact location in the store, it also will tell you online if that store has it & if in stock, how many left. yesterday I practiced it, had a great outcome, staff was knowledgeable of this, and I was in and out in 7 minutes, I'm busy person lol.

The appliance assistant needed back up. The assistant became a little frustrated after seeing a lot of customers were in need of assistance. The front end team was great. My hat goes off them.

Lowes use to be my favorite store to purchase items for renovations. But now I’m on the fence about buying or ordering from them anymore. Reason why is because I had already ordered one of their $4k crafted ice refrigerators which was delivered on time. But a month ago in June my husband and I began to renovate one of our bathroom’s so my husband ordered a black Kholer toilet and a vanity from Lowe’s. The vanity and toilet was supposed to be delivered on the same day but the vanity was delivered. I called and found out first they had the toilet down for pick up when my husband paid the delivery fee when he purchased the toilet. I let them know that. Then they came back to the phone after a few minutes saying the toilet was there but they couldn’t find it. Put me on hold again then came back a few minutes later saying they only had the tank and the bottom was broken so we canceled it and put in another order for another toilet. August comes I ended up calling lowes again talked to an associate and same mess they put the toilet down for pick again I let the lady know that my husband paid for the delivery fee so it was supposed to be delivered. She had the toilet delivered the same day by Jerry. Now when Jerry delivered the toilet it fell off the trolley in my yard so when I check it there was a crack. I called Lowe’s they sent him to come pick it up and he claimed the toilet must of been delivered to Lowes already cracked. Put another order in for a new toilet called about that toilet found out it was shattered. Our construction crew was done renovating in July they were just waiting on the toilet.Then finally today we got the new toilet but there’s no toilet seat so I called about it. Just to get a female associate on the phone and be rude by calling me sir when I don’t sound or speak like a man then got sarcastic with my husband who is a Army Veteran by making it seem like we lying about the toilet and she needs a actual receipt and she couldn’t look up his account in the system when that’s what Lowe’s been doing since day one when he brought the toilet and vanity.My husband even asked about a discount because of the inconveniences and was told that he couldn’t get one because he’s being charged what Lowes been charged although he bought the toilet straight from the manufacturer.Lowes I need y’all to do better.

This is a top-notch home improvement retailer! The store is massive, yet it's easy to find whatever you're looking for. The associates I came in contact with were courteous. Most items appear to be in their proper place. For this visit, there were no issues.

This place has a better selection and nicer employees than the "other" place I used to shop at. They've started adding pet stuff in conjunction with Petco. Also, today, I was looking for some light bulbs, and their sele tion of smart bulbs has really exploded, plus the prices have come down a lot. I was going to get some simple LED outdoor flood lights ($7.50 each) but decided to get smart ones for $10 instead. Next trip, I'm picking up a new bird feeder.

Inquired about fence installation in my yard. An associate came out and did a measurement on July 4th and stated the computer system was down and couldn't make an accurate quote, and she would email it to me in the next few days. 2 weeks go by, and still no estimate. So we visited the store and were given her phone number. We called her and she insisted she sent a quote, and after informing her I never received one, she stated she would send another when she got her computer started as it was her day off. It's been almost a week, and no quote still. Sent an email to corporate, asking if it were possible to either work with someone else or get the process going soon, as we really need this done. It's been 4 days now, and no response. Guess we will go drop $5,000 elsewhere. Don't bother wasting your time with anything that you cannot install yourself.

I would put a negative five stars for the Lowes in Danville, Virginia if I could. I have purchased a ten thousand dollar generator from Lowes, a pressure washer, a four thousand dollar storage building, a dishwasher and other item. I saw this to say that I purchased a 3 thousand five hundred dollar lawnmower and a thousand dollar trailer from Lowes and the service has been worse than awful. I ordered the items on July 3rd. They were supposed to be delivered July 11th. Did that happen? No! No one called me the day of the deliver. I called them and asked when were they coming and I was told the person was busy and forgot to call me. I was then told, my lawnmower was not put together. I was later informed that not only was the lawnmower not going to get delivered but neither was my trailer. The trailer they had sold me did not have the vin number. So, I had to get another trailer and then the employee put in the wrong item number. So, I had to get another trailer then I had to call because the bank thought it was fraud because I had been charged for a trailer three times. Friday July 14th I get my items but the lawnmower is broke. They cannot come get brand new lawn mower that does not work until Tuesday. I was told I would not get my new lawnmower until July 28. I left out a lot of information because as you can read what I have said is a lot. Do not spend a penny a Lowes in Danville, Virginia be you will regret it. I have receipts and call logs to this Lowes and Customer Care Service to support every word I have said. This has been the worse experience ever!!!!!! N
