I bought my dog in for boarding. I hadn't bought my dog here in over a year & the prices have almost doubled. The last time I came, it was $15 a day & now it's $25 a day. It's a nice place & there are other places to take your pets that are cheaper, but they fill up fast so U have to book well in advance or U will definitely end up spending more money$$.

We have been taking the fur babies to Animal Medical for the lifetime of our oldest - she will be 15 in May. They have received excellent care from the sweetest staff.

I love how my dog received a tick-born test and a lime disease booster without my knowledge. The best part is, the results weren't even brought up afterward.

I am disgusted to even give this place one star. My 9-year-old beagle mix had internal bleeding and was peeing blood. Instead of being honest and telling my family that Ceaser should be put down, this place instead opted for a 55$ office fee (to tell me that my dog was peeing blood, which I told them) and got together a bill of exactly $481.64 for sedation for xrays, lab work, a urinalysis. When they found out I had no money, they sent my dog home, with NOTHING, not even a pain killer. Sadly, my beloved dog bled internally for over 12 hours. I called another place the following morning, and my dog was seen by an honest, professional vet who made it easy to see, she really loved animals. I will never, ever go to this awful place again.

If zero stars were possible I would select that. Used their grooming service and it was terrible. I was specific with the groomer (Melissa Rose) about the size guard and style of cut for my giant schnauzer. He has been being groomed by the same groomer since birth and due to moving to Virginia we needed a new person. This was not the place. Melissa lowered his skirt by several inches to under his abdomen. She chopped his eyebrows and beard to several different lengths, leaving hair still in his eyes. She shaved his legs to several different lengths when my instructions were specific that he was to be cut at 3/4 of an inch for his entire skirt. When I asked to speak to someone about the issues with his groom. The unevenness of his beard and eyebrows is alarming. He does not even smell clean. Brittney at the front desk was rude and petulant. She lacked customer service or even the slightest bit of empathy for the situation. Instead she responded in an aberrant manner and lacked all possible professionalism and decorum. UPDATE: Lisa called me shortly after I left the office and is working diligently to try and get Otis squared away with a different groomer to try and correct some of the correctable issues with his haircut. She is also addressing the lack of professionalism with Brittney.

Very Rude. Kept my cat for 2 days but couldn't tell me what was wrong. I went to visit with my cat and they brought her out soaking wet with blood running down her leg. Vet and tech contradicted each other constantly with their story. One said her WBC was high the other said it was low. I initially had the choice to take my cat home or let her stay, but after a day it was suddenly against medical orders to take her home. Sweetest little 6lb cat you have ever seen that has to be "Sedated" every time we go. Personally I believe they do anything they can to charge you as much as they can. This is the first pet I have brought here and it will be the last.

I have used them for the past 7 years and I have to say that Dr Laura is the best ever! She found the problem with my dog within minutes although she was in there the day before and seen by someone else that failed to see the issues. The staff is great and very friendly as well.

I've been taking animals to vets for over 40 years in several states. Animal Medical Center of Danville has THE most caring, efficient, professional, supportive doctors and staff I've ever taken my animals to. Hands down. Each person there does the absolute best that they can. Cheers to these loving people!

Absolutely wonderful vet and staff to carry your fur babies to. They are all so caring and are there to make both pets and pet parents comfortable. The vets and staff all really do care about the health and well being of our furry little companions, and they really do go to all lengths to ensure the very best care to keep our pets safe and healthy. My poor, 7 month old puppy had been suffering diarrhea since I adopted him 7 weeks ago. He was sent home from the shelter on antibiotics, then given 2 additional rounds of treatment by original vet. I boarded him at that vet for 2 nights and she still couldn't give me answers. He was steadily losing weight and becoming more weak. I read reviews for the animal medical center of Danville and they were all great, so I decided to get a second opinion. I'm SO glad I did, I truly believe they saved his life! Without hesitation, one of the veterinarians there prompted X-rays and blood work. She quickly came to a diagnosis and game plan. Just 2 days later, he has gained a little weight, his p*** is forming, he has energy again and he hasn't been throwing up! I'm so lucky to have came across them. I will forever be grateful!!

I woke up. My fur baby tried to get up to greet me and she couldn't walk. Just cried out. She was almost 15 yrs old. I called and they took me 1st thing that morning. There was nothing more they could do for her. She kissed me good bye and I held her till she passed. Staff went above and beyond. I got a little jar with a her fur in it and they sent a card. They were there for us when we needed them.
