Friendly staff, nearby, and very reasonably priced for the area. They always seem to be pretty busy but wait time is usually minimal.

The best vet I have been to. They are so welcoming and informative. They always work with your schedule to do what's best for you and your dog! We take all three of our dogs here and they are very professional. They also have the best prices! They are so affordable I was shocked. Overall, always had great experiences there. Cannot speak highly enough!

Amazing place to go, mom and I have been bringing our pets here for a few years, they are very gentle/considerate and never had any issues. The only negative thing I could say is I wish the vet would have been more honest or thorough with our chihuahua and her condition. She was about 13 yrs. old which is old and heartbreaking to think of but we knew we were limited with how much time left having her in our lives. She developed some respiratory issues and was given medication but the vet made it seem it wasn't as bad as it was. I don't blame them for her passing I just wish they would have been more open or checked a little more into it and maybe we could have had a some extra time with her but asides that I always recommend everyone in search of a place to take there animals here.

This is an okay vet for regular appointments for vaccines, medications, etc. Dr. Garrett does a good job with checkups on your animals, although he probably could be a little more thorough. They also have a new vet student (not sure if that's exactly what he is) doing the duties of a veterinarian and he is very good and awesome with animals. The prices are cheap compared to other vets in the area. The only complaints I have is that they are very difficult to get ahold of over the phone. When I am in the office, they are usually pretty booked and not very staffed at the front, so that is likely the issue there. They usually call back at the end of the day if you leave a message. If your animal has an emergency, I would not recommend trying to get ahold of them or bringing them in to the office. Your animal would be better off going to an animal hospital. However, for routine appointments, Fisher Hollow is great, usually busy, but a good vet!

My family and I are not ones to post reviews or state anything negative publicly. However, after the experience we suffered here with our precious animals, I could not go without sharing my stories, and I would rate this place in the negative if I could. Considering we have had multiple horrendous encounters with Matthew Garrett, I believe he was trained and taught to do a job he refuses to do properly. The first negative experience we had there ended with the loss of one of our beloved pets, Charlie. Charlie was our 8 month our Shih-Tzu puppy. Any Shih-Tzu owner could understand how rambunctious and curious they can be, especially as puppies. If the smallest thing ended up on the floor, Charlie would try to eat it if he got the chance. One day, we took Charlie to the vet after he stopped eating and began crying and whimpering. Dr. Garrett never took an x-ray or showed us any sign of what was wrong with Charlie or causing his pain. He only started doing enemas, claiming Charlie ingested a rubber band. They then told us that he had a perforated bowel that was "probably from a needle or something sharp he ingested". There was not a single place in this house Charlie could have ingested anything sharp, especially after we saw how he tried to pick everything up or eat anything that was in the floor. The house was puppy proof. However, again there were no x-rays or scans done to show us where the problem was or that it had been taken care of. They kept him overnight for "observation", and then called the next day to tell us he would be fine and we could come to get him and bring him home. When my granddaughter and I picked Charlie up, he was soaking wet, covered in vomit and lord knows what else. He stunk and was only wrapped in a wet towel. When we brought Charlie home and took him outside, I noticed he was bleeding from his rectum. I immediately called Fisher Hollow to see if this was normal or if I needed to bring him back. Dr. Garrett preceded to tell me it was a normal reaction from the enemas they did. Charlie laid down and never moved or ate all evening. I stayed up with him all night until I laid down in my room, next to the living room where Charlie was laying. When I got up the next morning to check on him, Charlie had passed in the night. There was NEVER proof of anything Dr.Garrett told us was going on with Charlie. We lost a precious 8-month-old puppy due to the fact we were told Charlie would be fine and we thought we could take Dr.Garrett at his word, but he neglected Charlie. After all the problems we had with Charlie, I ignorantly took my poodle to this so-called "vet" once again. My poodle, Ice-T, began coughing and his back right leg was swollen. Dr. Garrett told me it was most likely due to the injury he sustained a few years ago on his leg. I proceeded to ask him to take an x-ray of Ice-T's lungs and leg just to see, and I will never forget the look Dr.Garrett gave me when he turned to me and said: "I don't have time." I was floored when the person that was supposed to be caring for my animals claimed he didn't have time to do what I was asking him to do for my pet, asking him to do the job he's titled with. He gave me some medicine and sent us home. In January of 2019, I took Ice-T back to Dr.Garrett for a mass that had developed on his back, and once again asked him about Ice-T's leg that continuously swell off and on. He looked at Ice-T for maybe 5 minutes, if that, and said: "yup, that mass needs to come off", and he scheduled surgery and sent me home. Due to the horrible past, we had so far with Fisher Hollow, I decided to have a second opinion due to the seriousness of the situation. On January 22nd, I took Ice-T to have his second opinion at another vet, and before we scheduled surgery with the new vet, he told me that the mass was likely cancerous. He also examined Ice-T's leg and told me that it needed to be addressed, but the mass needed to be taken care of first. W

This is the vet I would take my pet to every time. Dr. Garrett is the only person and place that I trust to spay/ neuter my pets. He has always been great with my pets, he treats them like family.

This vet should NOT BE LICENSED. HE'S RESPONSIBLE FOR TERRIBLE, UNSANITARY TREATMENT AND DEATH OF PATIENTS AND HAS MANY PUBLIC COMPLAINTS AGAINST HIM, ONLINE AND IN THE COMMUNITY. SAVE YOUR PET FROM HIS NEGLIGENCE. DO NOT USE THIS VET!!!! I WOULD RATE ZERO STARS IF IT WOULD ALLOW. HE IS THE WORST VET I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE.
