July 2024: first time stopping in- Such a wide assortment of items and what a large store! People are very nice and helpful and many of the items are priced at a really reasonable rate. Forget goodwill, these little thrift stores are the place to shop!

I have been to JRS quite a few times and have also purchased many treasures from them. Their prices can’t be beat and the owners, John and Rachel, are so helpful and eager to assist you in any way that they can. I love all the different local artist that they support in their store and I always find something new and interesting each time that I visit. I would definitely recommend that you stop in and take a look around!

I love the new location. Everything is spread out with easy to navigate isles. They have filled up two areas and are starting to open a third. I’ve shopped with JRS for awhile but this new location is my favorite. It seems they have lots of vendors and a little bit of room for more.

The new location is amazing. There is so much space to move around and shop. There are lots of vendors now that have arts and crafts, yard sale items, and new stuff. You can find almost anything!

This is an excellent thrift store. It’s a very small hidden gem. Out of all the thrift stores in Culpeper they have the best prices. I just bought my daughters entire Fall wardrobe for school for $17.50. We bought at least 70 items. Included in that lot was American Eagle Jeans. My daughter was very excited because they looked brand new. Her Dad and I were excited because we paid a quarter for them. Thanks JRS Variety please keep your prices low. I don’t mind having to look through a bin when your prices are so low.

They haven't been open very long. Place has good potential, if they would lay it out better and add more shelving. They didn't have an over abundance of stuff. Alot of toys, some odds and ends, and an over abundance of bead crafts. Other than the craft items, What they did have was marked fairly cheap. Owners were very nice. Scored a couple jars for craft projects. They need a better lay out and more/diverse inventory. Do that and this place could become a very nice, well visited second hand shop. Will return in a few weeks and see how that visit goes and will leave an update.

Had an amazing experience tonight .. wasn’t supposed to get our U-Haul truck until tomorrow morning ..the owner went above and beyond to make sure we got it tonight and actually came out after 8:30 pm and opened the shop to us to process the order and allowed us to get it tonight..while we were in there we brought a few very nice items !!! I definitely recommend this establishment!!!
