Customer service is non existent here. How can we the people have this DMV office held accountable for poor quality of service?
First of all there's a pungent stench the moment you walk in, like a combination of landfill and a skating rink. But, not much of choice since it's the closet DMV to our house, UNFORTUNATELY.
Secondly, I made an appointment for my daughter for a driver's permit and we got there right on time, waited in the only line available, to only be told at the window that I was supposed to be there 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment time. I explained to the young and uninformed representative that there was no such notice on the website to arrive 10 minutes earlier than the scheduled appointment. She simply shrugged her shoulders, and said I needed to reschedule. I asked her there was no way for me to know if it's not stated online, to which she then pointed behind me and said the sign behind you says there's two lines one for appointments and one for waiting, except when she pointed behind me there was no sign for appointments only and therefore she was wrong. However even though she was wrong, she did not own that error, or apologize about the lack of effective
communication either through the website or via signs in person.
I tried to calmly and collectively explain my frustration, but I was still metwith a nonchalant attitude and a careless response of me requiring to reschedule again. What these employees of the state (our tax money) don't understand is that we too have lives and it took a lot of effort and time to schedule these appointments. But they don't care, because at the end of the day they just get a paycheck, which we pay for.
This place needs to be held accountable how can we do that?

I scheduled an appointment online to renew my license. I able to check in by walking up to the express desk. (No need to scan the QR code because you’ll wait forever). Not sure if it’s always like this, but the lobby was extremely hot and everyone was sweating. The lady who helped me wasn’t the friendliest and didn’t tell me when she was gonna take my picture… When I asked if I could see it, she said no.. Lol… would not recommend.

This place is not handicap friendly at all. My son had an appointment to renew his license. if I hadn't been there he would not have been able to get inside. We waited in line for about 20 minutes to check in got the form and a ticket sat down for another 20 minutes finally deciding to snag an open window to tell them they skipped us in there sequential order our number was finally called...They offered zero help when it was time for him to do the vision test. Thankfully he was able to scoot up close enough to pull the machine down but the weird angle made it difficult for him to see. So the lady says "oh your not passing do you need glasses can you see?? " then she says "can you see the blinking lights?" I was thankful to get it done leaving with my sons dignity in check. Not a pleasant experience at all. NOT HANDICAP FRIENDLY OH AND BY THE WAY HANDICAP PEOPLE CAN DRIVE EVEN IF THEY ARE IN A WHEELCHAIR.

Was not notified by mail of an important change to a driving status for a household member. Was rudely told to wait outside if I wasn’t there for a transaction, that the seats were for customers. If I’m at the DMV, alone or with someone, I’m there to conduct business. I don’t view the DMV as a place to just chill. Tf?

A. Griffin is a very rude lady. Her job is customer service and to help the public. She even took her glasses off and rubbed her eyes annoyed. If you don’t like your job, go work somewhere that doesn’t deal with people.

Not a good experience! Showed up on time for my appointment and had to wait in line to get to the window to get a ticket. Once I got to the window I was told that it was 5 minutes after my appointment time and I could no longer be seen which was crazy because I was 5 minutes after my appointment time because I had to wait in their line. Then they ask do you want to make another appointment… no thank you. Manager was just as unhelpful as the staff.

The manager at this dmv is very rude. Not really sure how she got the job. She does not know how to politely talk to people.
