They have amazing volunteers, foster parents and Patty is Amazing! She loves all the fur babies and she works so hard to find them a good home! Trust the process and donate if you can!

Our experience was wonderful. We had couple great chats with very nice people after filing our application. 1st an interview over the phone, super nice lady, we talked just to talk think, great chat. Then a video phone interview. We just chatted a bit then showed her(not to name names, awesome lady, very personable) the house. Super easy even for a guy like me(not a tech guy). We joked a lot and told stories of past furry critters. The foster family did an amazing job. Because, our new lil buddy is very, very well adjust. He’d never been around a dog before. Within days Elly May and Rosco(aka Rook) were chill. Can’t understand a single bad review. Our experience was easy, professional and most importantly personable. Keep in mind it’s all voluntary. If you complain volunteer to help. Or mind your manners

Wonderful organization, everyone does a great job, the kitties I got were described exactly the way they are. Culpeper humane society truly cares for their animals and who they end up with.

They refused to sell us a kitten because we live on a farm. We even had an "exceptional" recommendation from one of the people that fosters the cats for them. This didn't matter any. It also didn't matter that our animals are so healthy and well taken care of that we rarely have need of a vet. They said they wouldn't sell us a kitten but would consider it if they had a teenage cat!Their virtue signaling with animals is disgusting, and meanwhile loads of cats in America are put down every day because they can't find homes for them. Culpeper Humane Society is contributing to the problem rather than resolving it. Yes, vet people to make sure to the best of ones ability that the animal is going to be succumbed to abuse and neglect but to deny our family of a kitten, whom my children already bonded with, cared for, and accepted as part of the family because we live on a farm: that is inhumane.

I hate leaving negative reviews- but my experience was not so great. I inquired about getting my 3 males dogs neutered on November 1st of 2021. Their responses were timely hence why I'm giving two stars. I provided all 3 of my pups info and was told they'd be put on a waiting list and it would be two months before my dogs were scheduled- no issues there. I followed up on January 10th as I had not heard anything since that interaction. I was told that they would not be running transports for dogs until March- okay no problem there either. Fast forward until yesterday- I received an email stating they would be taking transports next month but would only be taking smaller dogs. My puppies who were at my initial inquire were about 25 LBS are now roughly 50 LBS. I received an email back stating the clinic isn't taking female dogs that large "It is unlikely that we will ever be able to take your Dalmatians."Firstly, my dogs are all males (which should have most definitely been notated). Secondly, I feel like I've been beat around the bush and holding out hope for my pups. I could've taken them elsewhere when they were only 4 months old, not 8 months.
