Overpriced and the vet's husband is the business manager. I would recommend finding another small animal clinic.

If there was an option for zero stars that's what it would have gotten. I have been here with my dog multiple times and never even had the issue resolved. I went in for a second appointment for the same issue. My dog had been there before and they knew he was very active and nervous but didn't mention anything when scheduling my follow up appointment that he might need meds for his next appointment. I took off work to take him in for them to charge me for a full exam but didn't even do the exam stating he was too active and gave me medication to calm him down. I don't understand why they wouldn't mention about medication before so I didn't waste a whole day for nothing. So I was trying to set another follow up appointment but they wouldn't put the money I already paid for nothing done towards my follow up appointment. They are extremely rude, and won't even listen to concerns. It's a waste of time and money. Don't go.

We have taken our cat here several times in past few years for check ups shots etc...... and have spent a couple thousand dollars. Recently our cat was attacked and wounded by another cat. We took our cat in to get stitches. The vet made some very questionable decisions regarding the health of our cat. The women in the office including the vet were not kind and very cold. They kept trying to upsale us on things our cat did not need. My cats health wasn't their main priority but making a profit seems to be their main focus not to mention they don't allow patients in the building using covid as their reason. I would advise everyone NOT go to Culpeper Animal Hospital unless you want to get taking advantage of.

This practice used to be one I could not recommend enough, and I have made multiple reviews and have actively defended the practice to others who were critical on social media because of their practices. I pteviously felt they cared about their patients and families however while recently dealing with an emergency and at an Emergency Clinic getting treatment for a kitten...I missed an appointment because I was at the Vet ER for the same kitten that had an appointment. Culpeper Animal Hospital decided to penalize me despite spending several thousands dollars with them. The manager called and interrupted me and then decided to disconnect after stating that she is really sorry but that is policy. i am Not interested in people who only care about money, do not let families in with their pets long after Covid restrictions have been lifted...simply because it is easier to avoid being held accountable by the pet owners when the pet owners aren't even welcome in with their pets. you have lost several good vets and now you are losing good and loyal clients.

Took my dog for routine well visit, due to COVID restrictions could not be with my dog who is 3 years old, she was given 3 vaccinations without my verbal or written consent. I was never called after she was taking into the faculty by staff. I was only called after they were finished with the exam, the vet said said she looked good and found no problems. My dog’s health started to decline afterwards and now has diagnosis of several liver masses. She was a very active and playful dog prior to be given those vaccines. I hope my experience never happens to anyone else. My dog is like my child, our family is devastated. She is only 3 years old.

For several years Culpeper Animal Hospital vets have taken excellent care of our dog Luke. On June 20th old age caught up with him and we had to put him down. Dr. Vargas and her vet tech were very compassionate. We were given all the time we needed to say good by. Thank you.

Very compassionate towards our situation. A very sad unexpected day. We received a sympathy card signed by Dr and staff later in the week, too.
