When they got sold to GFL, i had no notice. As i was in the reoccurring bill, county waste took it automatically. But GFL did not they didnt even let me know to re-register. As i tried to call them to discuss how we could continue with them, they totally ignored me and my wife. At one point, i was put in hold while my wife was on hold from another line for 2 hours. Then today, they came and took the trash cans again without contacting us.

They raised their price with no notification. Then the following two months after raising the price they had a glitch in the auto payment system. Asked to cancel the service and it costs more then one month of service to cancel and pick up the container. Closest drop off is over an hour away.Service: Waste recycling

Customer service terrible. On hold forever, no answer or disconnected. No response to emails. They missed a pick up and I couldn’t get anyone to respond. Non-existent customer service.Service: Trash removal & disposal

Terrible service. Poor customer service. Price goes up. Service goes down. Skipped a week of pickup and customer service said that the driver noted that the cans were not out for pickup which was inaccurate. Also we pay extra for them to take recycling which we found out they just dump in with the rest of the trash and do not recycle. I’ll be looking for another trash service.

We have had their service since they took over Rock Hills customers. Trash has been picked up consistently until the past two weeks. Then suddenly we get skipped over. I have emailed and called. No response to emails. I have stayed on the phone well over an hour three times and never get to speak to anyone. I had to get half of the trash out of our can, rebag it, and take it to the landfill in my car. Now the can is overflowing again.The driver cannot say out trash wasn't set out. It is placed out the night before service EVERY week!!! We also sometimes have to place a bungee cord on the can lid to keep animals from dumping the can into the street. Each time our bungee cord is trashed. Thankfully they are cheap to replace.I'm hoping this review gets their attention and they call me, email me, anything at this point!!! Does anyone work in the offices to answer phone calls?!?!?! I expect credit on my bill. But mostly I just want my trash picked up every week when you are suppose to pick it up! If the driver has an issue, maybe hire a new driver!

This is the second week our trash is not picked I clearly have footage where our trash can is skipped but they get our neighbors trash.

This is my first ever Yelp review. I am so frustrated with County Waste. They have promised me repeatedly that they would pick up their can, which I am not using anymore, and they never show up. When i call, they leave me on incredibly long holds and then tell me there's nothing they can do. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, i'm told there is no supervisor available until next week. Completely unprofessional.

Trash was not picked up today. The Woman who called me said their guy listed my trash can as not being in front of my house at pickup time. I had put my can out front early the day before. She insisted that the GPS showed the truck was at my house at five AM. I do agree with her the truck was there as my camera pointing down the drive way showed the truck passing my house without stopping. My camera also shows the can was out there from at least three PM the previous day and had not moved prior to their truck passing. If they try pull this game with you and you do not have the resources to prove their incompetence give a shout and I'll give a helping hand.

They have been great to me. They are consistent with their trash pick up, my trash can was stolen one time & they brought another one out the same day & they just dropped off an open top dumpster fairly priced when 2 other companies stood me up.
