I cannot speak to anyone locally, I always get an overseas call center. I have a billing issue that is yet to be resolved and after being put on hold several times the agent acted like a robot and kept repeating her name and saying hello are you there when I know it was nothing more than an attempt to get me upset until I just hang up. Provide your customers with local agents and do better

If no stars was an option I would use it! We needed to service to another building on our property. We have an existing account. My husband successfully got them to do a site survey and has fully paid for everything. They have just failed to deliver the tank for the SECOND time! Their customer service line is a nightmare. There is no.way to contact the local office directly. We still have no gas.

Called after receiving delivery that was NOT requested. Tank was cut off over a year ago and delivery driver at that time was going to request it be fixed--GAUGE was broken and could not be read. So WHY did another driver fill it up?? Tank was cut off completely. Because the account is in my deceased mother's name, person who answered could not help me!!!!!
I'm NOT paying for a year of tank rental on a tank that is NOT operable and needs to be replaced (or at least the gauge needs to be fixed) and then gas turned back on.
NOT paying for a delivery in a tank that is cut OFF and not functioning!!
Can't get any help at all since my mother is no longer alive (nearly 10 years now) and her death certificate has been hard to find.
Unbelievable and very, very poor customer service. I've been the one calling for service on the account for years, but now they "can't" help me.

I don’t think a separate charge for paper statements is fair. Otherwise, service for “will call” has improved some since 2016. They have also changed the tank level percentage at which at which you can call from 25 to 35%. Less chance of running out that way.

Agent in another country had no clue about what is going on locally with deliveries which was our problem- delivering two days in a row. They also added a strange device to our tank & never told us what it is. No way to contact or even visit the office of this gas company locally. After 20 years I am dumbfounded at the poor level of service. I asked for a follow up local contact & only received this survey. We are looking for an alternative gas company now that is responsive on a local level. On a 1-10 scale they get a 0. Unsatisfied longtime customer.

I am pleased that they will deliver gas when I am not home. The delivery person checks the level of gas in the tank, refills the tank to the appropriate level, and leaves a receipt to let me know what he has done. This is super convenient as we do not have to coordinate schedules.

Amerigas has the WORST customer service I had ever experienced! I prepaid for the delivery but the installer found a leak in my tank so I was scheduled a repair on my personallyowned tank. I am still waiting going on a month! No one call me. All the service numbers take you to a call center in tge Phillipines! No local contact. I've just called to cancel everything and get my money back. I was suddenly put on hold and she never came back! Buyer beware of AMERIGAS! There seems to be nothing AMERICAN ABOUT THEM!!

Our new client safety check (by Eric) was very professional and thorough. Initial delivery was slightly delayed but once started is now automatic and regular.

Phone operators are difficult to have a conversation with- pre- Covid we had a local office - Now we get a big box operation with room full of phone operators- No longer personal or authentic- Service is over priced with continued ways to drive up cost- First you require a minimum $$$ requirement to get lower price per gallon then you charge extra if the customer uses a credit card- Way to go running people away -

We have had horrible experiences anytime we deal with Amerigas!! We ordered and prepaid for about 150 gallons and waited several days without heat before they decided to show up and deliver it. We then get a bill a few days later charging us for the additional 200+ gallons they delivered which we never requested! Amerigas is a joke, all their customer service is handled overseas, you never actually talk to someone local!! ?

We have a decorative windmill over the gas tank, open in the back so the lid of the gas tank can be opened. On previous fills, the tech has opened the lid, filled the tank, without disturbing the windmill. In January, Amerigas showed up unannounced, tore the windmill out of the ground and threw it on the lawn, then filled the tank (as far as we know, can't read the gauge) and left without approaching the homeowners. The gauge on the tank is filled with condensation so is unreadable.
