“20241013 I was driving from Morgantown, WV, and Google took me on a long drive through a 1-lane residential area for about an hour. I zoomed by a family-owned gas station on the right, and shortly after, I saw this gas station. I hesitated stopping here since the area was somewhat secluded, but a few cars in front of me turned into this gas station, I decided to follow them. I used the restroom first, and it was definitely unique with a dark blue light that I couldn't tell see that well. The restroom appeared to be clean. I explored the market before getting gas and found some things that I hadn't seen before like strawberry rice crispy, Arizonaice tea woth alcohol, and a Tom (and Jerry) keychain (so cute, and I bought 1). Even though this market is small, it offers fried chicken, sandwiches, ice cream, and other snacks. I had a chance to talk to the owner, and he was very nice. This gas station only has 4 pumps. Moving around can be tight but manageable. I wasn't going to wait to get gas, and then I spotted an open pump on the other side. To my surprise, their gas prices are reasonable for Biden/Harris-omic. 93 Octane was less than $4/gallon. I saw the State Line Store sign in the window, and I didn't think much of it... until I was driving away, in the corner of my eye, I spotted the Welcome to West Virginia sign. When facing the gas station, the WV sign will be on your left, on the same side of the gas station. I was heading to VA, and there was the Welcome to Virginia sign, which is located across the street on your right when facing the gas station ???. I can't believe I miss these photo opportunities!! I didn't take a picture of the WV sign but attached a photo of what it looks like.”

“Heading from West Virginia to Virginia this little all purpose gas station just outside Berkeley Springs is a must stop for us. Gas always is cheaper once we drive in to Virginia. The Liberty Express Stop is always filled with over the road trucks lined up in back and the gas bays are always filled with cars, it seems as though everyone traveling has the same idea as us. Most of the time stopping you are greeted with the smells of pizza, coffee and sandwich type goodies. There are always people in line buying food stuff and a small eating area for those who want to take a break from driving. The prices are not bad and my hubs always picks up his Utz Potato Chips since we can't buy them locally. The interior is always clean and well stocked. I would give this little rest atop a 5 star except for the always long line for the restrooms. Of course, they can't help that but that's the only thing that needs to be changed or updated.”

“I come down this route 3-4 times a year in my truck since love the scenery instead of the constant interstate grind. I always make it a point to stop here since it has plenty of food items to choose from and a very pleasant staff.”
