Horrific. My parents visited from NC and visited this bank to open an IRA for my dad. A very chipper young lady helped us, shes transferred to about 3 locations - don't know if that's due to anything good, or something bad, but she lost the beneficiary document, which my mother didn't find out until after my dad passed. She traveled to nunerous branches and made several trips to her county court house before she had the issue resolved. The bank lost the doc, had no hard copy anywhere, and had no means or understanding how to resolve it. The numerous branches consistently provided inaccurate and changing information. It was a foul mess up that never should have happened.

The available, current balance thing is ridiculous. If it says it’s available then account shouldnt go red. Changing the hrs and not being open til 12 on sat was a dumb change. Direct deposits on friday should show that day not make you wait til 3 days later to go into acct. i will be searching for another bank asap

Not very happy with the way funds are processed! If my money is showing available in my account, I shouldn't get feed for using it!

I would never pick this bank if I had a choice. No Saturday hours. No option for after hours deposits for business checking. They charge me for deposit of cash (?) and sign me up for paper Statements then charge me $5 a month to do it. I was off by .30 on a deposit and got hit for $6 correction fee. Practically no locations that are convenient and want $30/ month to have the scanner for check deposits. Every month I look at my $5 statement to see what new fees they invent. I am part of a multi location business based in North Carolina and they are apparently better there so I am forced to use them. Stay away.

If I could give zero stars I would! First Citizens merged with my local bank. I called the customer service number while out of town and the agent said "ma'am this is customer service I have no way to help you, you need to go into a local branch". If I could walk into a local branch I would. Zero help, zero loyalty and zero service.

They charge 8 dollars to cash a check from their bank. No thanks try first market instead. No hidden fees and very friendly prompt service there. This bank took me 20 minutes to get my money. Pain in the behind
