Ever since I brought Emma to CCDC, I've seen the most incredible changes in her. I watched her learn to put together sentences, share and care for others. I've watched her learn and laugh and make friends that will carry over in her childhood. I have watched her leadn to problem solve and express what she wants/needs. I want to thank you all for these gifts. Every teacher we've met, has been kind and caring and makes Scott and I feel safe. We love the family atmosphere at CCDC and there's just not enough words to show you how thankful we are. We can't wait for Olivia to come to you all when she is about 2 or 3. We love each one of you and so, bye for now. Thank you for everything you all have done for Emma and us.

Such a wonderful daycare. Love all the teachers and they interact so well with the children. They provide wonderful/nutritious meals that are homemade. They help with potty training, and they will teach your children lots of things. Overall an excellent place from my opinion!

I was extremely nervous about sending my 16 month old to preschool/daycare and visited many centers before deciding on CCDC, and every day I am thankful for the decision. If you are looking for a place that provides a safe and nurturing environment, while focusing on creative play, nature, art, and social skills, I encourage you to consider CCDC! We love the staff (which has had zero turnover in over a year that we have been there) and the individuallized attention all the kids are given. A typical day might involve going on a nature walk and checking on the growing baby geese at the pond, and then coming back and doing art projects and making up songs about various things they discovered on the walk. What I love most about CCDC is the warm relationships staff develop with students, which is not just limited to their main teacher. There are seperate classes according to age, but if my daughter wants to do a project with the older friends, or needs some quiet time away from the groups, she is able to do so, and has great relationships with all the staff at the school. Home cooked meals by Miss Yvonne are also a hit. I can't say enough about the experienced, warm, creative staff at CCDC and the way my child has thrived and learned there.

Our son went to Covesville Child Development Center for about 3 years. It is a wonderful nurturing place for a young child. I always felt that he was safe and taken care of. His learning skyrocketed while attending the center. He is very full of energy and they were always able to channel that energy into learning. When my child started he was not potty trained. The teachers there jumped right in to help with his potty training. What a relief that was!!The food is made there on site and sometimes made from scratch. They always put emphasis on using nutritious foods like fruits and vegetables. You will not find a better place for the money. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great learning and nurturing environment for your child.

My husband and I love CCDC. 3 of our 4 children have attended CCDC and it would have been all 4 had CCDC existed when we had our 1st child. We have previous experience with two other day care centers in Charlottesville (one of which is quite expensive) and have found CCDC to be the best choice for our children. It's a little out-of-the way for us but so worth it. The things I love about CCDC: Meals prepared by loving hands (and I mean GOOD meals), nurturing caregivers, safe environment, great academic lessons, life lessons, and a fun and positive place to be. CCDC is a special place for children and my husband and I never think twice about leaving our children there.

My daughter Berkeley has been going to CCDC since she was 2 and loves it. I am so pleased with the staff and the curriculum with the center. She has learned a tremendous amount from interacting with the other children and teachers. Her vocabulary bank is the size of a dictionary now!!!! I am so thankful I found this place and was able to find comfort in knowing she is in such nurturing hands. She loves her teachers and speaks often about them at dinner!

Our son started attending CCDC at the age of 16 months. Since starting, he is now 3 ½, his vocabulary has expanded beyond belief! He LOVES his teachers, as do we. The communication from the teachers is great and we always know what is going on at school whether the information comes from the teachers or the kids that greet and share with you when you walk in the door. Rates are extremely reasonable especially compared to comparable centers in Charlottesville.

Imagine a place tucked quietly behind walls of running ivy, where happy smiles and giggles are abundant, home cooked meals soothe the angst of hunger, and opportunities to create leaning towers, connecting bridges, and budding friendships prevail throughout the day. We love our Covesville Child Development Center because it offers our youngest of four sons all of these things. Thank you, CCDC!!

We absolutely love CCDC. Our son Sammy has thrived from the beginning and simply loves his teachers and school. He is so well taken of and there is so much love and kindness at CCDC. We love the fact that Ms. Yvonne makes them delicious healthy food for breakfast and lunch everyday, and she is so wonderful. Sammy says she is the best cook around. CCDC has the best environment that is so conducive to learning and growing. I love how the staff are so patient, supportive, and dedicated. There is always laughter and genuine care and respect all around. The teachers promote kindness and understanding with all the friends, and it shows. They teach the children healthy, productive ways to handle disappointment and sharing with other friends in a positive way. We love it there and would recommend it to anyone. Ms. Natalie is Sammy's pre-k teacher and she is top notch, with a great sense of humor and a lot of experience and wonderful ideas. She is truly preparing him for kindergarten which we are so happy about. And of course, Ms. Donna. As the head of the school, you could find none better. Donna is so wonderful and caring (and funny too!) and she too is simply top notch. My husband and I are so appreciative of these wonderful ladies (Ms. Kathy and Annette too!!), and feel so lucky and blessed that he is with them every school day.

My son has been in pre-school here this year for his first year of school. He loves going to 'Country School'! Walking in the door to be greeted by the smiling faces and greetings from all of the kids and teachers every day he goes is just great. It is a warm, welcoming, safe place for him to spend the day learning how to be a kid amongst kids.

Covesville Child Development Center is a warm and welcoming day care center for kids from 16 months until Pre-K. Our two year old has been very happy here. The facility is not the fanciest in the world--it's in a church basement--but the teachers are incredibly warm and creative. They even have a teacher who makes breakfast and lunch for the kids every day! My son is always happy to go to "school" and always happy when I pick him up. I definitely recommend this place for a safe and nurturing day care.

Covesville Child Development Center is dedicated to the growth and well being of the children that they care for. They work closely with the parents to ensure that the children (and the parents) are getting as much from the program as possible. My child looks forward to going to school and is excited to tell me all about her day afterwards. I value the options they have to allow my child to attend full time or part time, which gives me flexibility in my schedule from month to month, if needed. I recommend CCDC for a family type environment where children can grow and learn.

I am so very pleased with CCDC. My granddaughter loves to go and is always talking about what they did and sharing what she is learning. She loves her teachers and all the other "friends". Ms Donna, the school director, is very dedicated to having children experience and explore the world around them. Every child should grow up with a loving, nurturing environment like this.
