Hog Haven is at the Gateway Farmers Market near our house and I have loved being able to get their incredible sausage and bacon for home cooking. Extremely high quality meats, and the woman who runs the operation at our farmers market is very kind and seems to have a great rapport with the crowd in our neighborhood. So grateful for this farm — a high quality alternative to the mass produced junk at the grocery store. The breakfast sandwiches are dope too!

I have been purchasing from Hog Haven for at least 6 years. The quality of meats and bfast sandwiches are insanely good, and the Aoli sauce is out of this world. I try and order the sauce every chance I get.

Amazing breakfast sandwiches and sausage. Buy local so you can know where your meat is coming from and how it was raised.

There's a reason so many people say Hog Haven has the best breakfast sandwich in the city and there's huge lines at the Dupont Circle Farmers Market! When I'm there, I look forward to treating myself with the Chef's Special sandwich with whatever they've got to throw on there (onions, greens, whatever). Both of the sauces are also absolutely essential for me. Highly recommend!

The best breakfast sandwich I've ever had! Great tasting pork and beef products too.

I tried their food this morning—and it was the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. I already marked my calendar for next weeks farmers market to get this. Holy smokes. Worth the price. ✅✅✅

Delicious sandwiches, with a couple caveats.Always a big line, so you might have to get to the Farmer's Market as soon as the market opens, unless you're at a smaller location. The sandwiches are absolutely so tasty, but I do agree with another reviewer that, for the price and, more importantly, for health reasons, they should opt out of using Pam vegetable oil and go instead for healthier oils like extra virgin olive oil or grass-fed butter. Even for marketing reasons I think doing so is just a better move, as they're usually selling at farmer's markets where neighboring vendors are selling/prioritizing health foods.A lack of healthier oils used in the food we buy and eat knocks two stars off an otherwise five star sandwich.

NOT WORTH IT, I paid $13 for a “grass def, cage free and all that” sandwich that was coated and cooked in PAM haha I couldn’t believe when he was cooking it and I saw. I’ll eat McDonalds I don’t care, but if I’m paying all that then I expect more of a home cooked experience. Maybe Irish salted butter like a real chef?

Hog Haven was a great discovery at the McLean farmers' market (one of many they do during the week in Northern Virginia and Washington, DC). First off, the quality of every cut and type of meat we've gotten from them has been top-notch. Second, they are great to deal with whether in person at the market or when seeking a specific cut of meat or doing a special order. And, well, every person I've dealt with has just been the sort of person that you're willing to do business with again. I will ... and recommend you do as well.

Rob, you are the best! Your breakfast sandwich and pork products are totally off the chart. No competition. We are farmers market people, and we say your product is super delicious and we feel good about eating it. Take a sinful sandwich like your breakfast delight with Hog Haven sausage, fresh free-range eggs, and local cheese, and all of a sudden it's like a health food. Plus, if it tasted any better you'd like have to die after eating it. Completely worth waiting in line for. We eat them every weekend, and you should too.

Wow, if you’re lucky enough to stumble across these guys don’t pass up getting a sausage sandwich. Also the mint lemonade was easily the best I’ve ever had…minty, lemony, and ice cold on a hot day. Will definitely be back!

I just got a mint pomegranate lemonade at Cleveland Park. It was warm disgustingly sweet with a hint of lemon and no taste of mint or pomegranate the worst part is the guy looked at me incredulously when I called him out on serving me warm lemonade in 93 degree weather and service was rude did not even say thank you. This was the second time I was scammed by hog haven pre pandemic I bought a chorizo sandwich and what I got was a burnt regular sandwich this was at the Bethesda farmer’s market again rude service. I see 3-4 years later much has not changed.
