My experience was horrible. I have a very particular issue with my 7.3 diesel that I have owned for 20 years now and wanted it looked at by someone that was absolutely capable in this particular situation. I had received a referal from my in-town non-diesel mechanic that they could. I called to discuss what was needed, and that I wanted to start by checking to make sure certain components were aligned with proper model year match between the motor and the ecm. Wanted to start here becauseI believed that after the motor swap that possibly the ecm was never changed and if the hpop and injectors were not aligned with the proper year ecm that this could be why there was still much worse mpg by a mile than I used to get the 1st 10 years of ownership after many and most items updated since then in recent years. They set the appointment day which I would have to arrange for an employee to help me drop this truck off and get back to town from roughly am hour away. And then to pick it up another 2 people for 2 hours of time after simply being told they could not help me with this, after I had the discussion with them to see if they could help me with this. Of course there was a cost for them to “look” at the truck but they did not look at what I wanted to hire them to do but of course would still be liable for the expense. I explained that I wanted them to understand that I was not happy with this situation being that I set out in the beginning to have this particular diagnostic work performed and only this work if not them more beyond it, and they should’ve let me know this from the beginning before 8 hours of our time was wasted on this effort to not have it done, and the “diagnosis” of which not was done that I asked for. When I dropped the truck off on the day appointed I explained this in depth again to the person behind the counter that seemed to be higher up on the food chain. None of this helped in my attempt to hire someone to do this job.I was told by the original individual up front that set this appointment “fuel mileage is all in how much you press the gas pedal”,And when dropping it off the second individual sitting at the desk stated, “old trucks get worse gas mileage than they start out with” as a matter of fact,The 3rd individual that I expressed my discontent with about all the time wasted and having to pay for something that was not done stated, “I believe on the phone they told you gas mileage is all in the how much you press that pedal”. This was the response to completely wasting my time and charging me for it. The additional response was to “take it back to the person that put the engine in”, which has since passed away because that was ten years ago I had come across a deal on this 01 engine for my e 99 truck. Thanks for the advice. I probably would’ve been better off attempting that than to get any assistance here.I sincerely hope everyone else has a much better time than myself, but honestly this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had that was handled horribly from start to finish. If this is a professional establishment they should have clearly understood from all my communications that they needed to get say the head mechanic involved to understand this was either something they would do, or not do for me. Instead they didn’t listen to me, treated me like cattle, then told me I was wrong. Thanks for all the help,Sincerely,Someone that you did not try to help at all from the start, wasted my time snd money, then finished strong in similar fashion

True Diesel Performance installed my Bull Bar today on my 2022 Ram, which is not an easy task. They took extra care in disassembling the front bumper and sensors. Awesome front desk experience with personnel and all employees were extremely friendly. Great job happy customer!!

While traveling recently from CT to FL our truck broke down on the side of the highway. It took us about 5 hours to get our truck to go 6 miles to the next exit. It being a Sunday, nothing was open. First thing Monday morning we called True Diesel Performance and explained our situation; Without hesitation, Donnie came to tow our truck to his shop and stated not to worry, that he will get us back on the road later that afternoon. Throughout the day, we received several updates on the truck to keep us informed on any issues they came across and what thecost was out the door. The office staff was very polite, professional, and caring of our situation. Around 4pm that same day, our truck was ready to get back on the road! Donnie found the root of the problem that appears to have been an issue our usual mechanic was chasing for some time now but never found it. We are very thankful that we just happened to break down near this shop. Now we just wish True Diesel Performance was local for us. If you happen to live in this area and have a Diesel vehicle, this should be your first stop should any issues arise. The communication and service received is above anything we have experienced in a very long time! I brought an f350 to True Deisel that I was considering buying from a local dealer. It was a 2018 f350, the dealership indicated it had been thoroughly checked out by their service department and everything was "good to go ".True Deisel did a bumper to bumper assessment of the vehicle. They found quite a few major issues with the vehicle and provided me with a written report of all their findings, I presented it to the dealership, they decided not to repair the multitude of issues and send the vehicle to an auction. Thanks True Deisel Performance for doing such thorough job, I would have spent thousands of dollars over the years trying to keep that vehicle running. Money well spent!
