To date Home Depot has continued to lower their prices to help all patrons during tough economic times without sacrificing the quality of the materials they offer. I've compared prices at local competitors and Home Depot by far is the better overall choice in my opinion.

Drive thirty minutes for an item they said they had four in stock . Get there and it’s only one on shelf and the customer service man said he would go look then tried selling us other items after repeatedly telling him no thank you. I get inventory is one to two off but three or four off is a bit much

No help in lumber. Had to finally find someone to help me get 3/4 " plywood. Another customer and I helped each other load our trucks. He had ask for assistance but was still waiting after 15 minutes.

Bad equipment, I went to return some drills that I had bought one more time and the manager told me that he would not change them because they were used and that he believed that I had not bought those drills, in conclusion the manager was too rude and did not even listen to my problem.

Nice costumer service, the guy with irokez( working with paints) is awesome and really friendly, very positive and happy person. He was so nice and helpful the best ever experience. Always will be back there. Highly recommend !

Wanted to purchase a space heater, none of the registers were open. So I stood there waiting for help, I refuse to use any self checkout anywhere. Young woman at self checkout asked if I needed help, I said I needed to check out. She offered to check me out at the self checkout, so I let her. Didn't get to use my military discount and was extremely dissatisfied. Can't even have 1 register open, I think I'll take my business to Lowe's from now on seems like they always have a register open.

ZT (I believe he said his name was) in the blinds section was awesome. He cut down my blinds, took the time to show me how to clip the outside in and speak about different things to do with the blinds. Awesome customer service

DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT GO TO LOWES THEY WILL MAKE YOU PAY MONEY FOR THE STORES OWN MISTAKE. Save you the time and trouble. From the beginning Home Depot in colonial heights promised a home delivery of washer and dryer sept 7th that it’s in stock after me personally asking to confirm because the deliveries are famous for rescheduling. I was assured materials were in stock and there won’t be an issue. Long behold the day before called and said they never had it in stock and it’s back ordered until the 23rd. I call the day before to confirm that they will be there and They arrive the 23rd and they would be hauling away the washer and dryer all confirmed from the representative I spoke to he said it’s added to the notes and will happen. Delivery day they show up and say there is nothing about hauling away the old appliances and they don’t have room for it anyway. Now having to call back again they see the notes and said no one told them so now I have a washer and dryer in my front yard until another day they can come by. Then to find out the wrong color for dryer was delivered so having to call and try and get a replacement sent over I was instructed in order to do so I would need to PURCHASE a new one. Fronting 900$ for a mistake that they openly said was the stores fault. They will not honor a replacement until I purchased the correct color so in order to have this corrected Home Depot made the customer purchase the correction. Absolutely ridiculous do not order anything from Home Depot they do not care to help customers or accommodate the stores own mistakes. Lowe’s has better deals and customer satisfaction. I am stuck with paying another 900$ and won’t receive a refund until 12 business days.

Your Colonial Heights, VA location is absolutely in the toilet. Pro customer here, used to spend ~$30k/year with y’all. Customer service is awful, my daughter was attacked in your store by a dog (documented by the police), anytime I go in there’s just 6-8 employees watching TikToks behind the customer service desk, never an apology when your online discrepancy in inventory. This is why my business has moved to Lowes. I’m sure many more will follow if you all don’t make some changes.

Zero customer service, over priced, impossible to get help from an employee, self checkout and then a person checks your receipts, but know discount for checking your own items out, returns are only 3 times because the theft is so often people steal from the chester store and return to colonial heights an employee told me
