This place has the appearance of being good but underneath is just another shady business. I recently bought a car here that seemingly had no problems. Not even 2 weeks into having it, the engine blows up. After already being charged too much for the car with no leniency, I’m expected to pay triple what I bought it for to fix it. Tried speaking with the owner but have been ignored and won’t be spoken too. I will never ever ever support this business and recommend you taking your business elsewhere to save money and stress down the road. WORST EVER!

I could not have found a better car for a better price, let alone better people. They made my very first car purchase a breeze. Having saved up some money I went looking for Ford Mustangs, and despite finding a few vehicles I kept coming back to the results for this dealership. Joanne answered all of my questions without delay or hesitation, and even took the time to take down my contact info to put me in touch with Bill later that day. I came down and looked at the two Mustangs on the lot, one of which I immediately knew I wanted more. Bill was very kind, polite, and patient with me and my mom (who used to own a blue Mustang like the one I bought from Bill) as we test drove and discussed the vehicles. Bill made very generous offers as we discussed the price and I happily drove the blue Mustang off the lot the same day. A small issue with the thermometer housing happened later that night and no sooner had I notified Bill that he immediately began working with me to resolve the issue (I should add he had absolutely no obligation to do anything, and yet he generously did so anyway). They put a lot of effort into ensuring you have a good experience, and that you are satisfied with your purchase. I hope to work with them again sometime.

This is not your "typical" car dealership...and I mean that in a great way. It is small and family owned, so they do things differently. True, their hours are more limited than a typical big dealership...but what I found more than made up for it. I live 2 hrs away, so when I found the car online that I loved there, I was skeptical. I called Joanne and she immediately answered all my questions. She understood it would be a very long drive with small children and gave me every assurance it was the right car for me. She sent me a video of the outside of the car and inside. She sent me the Carfax...and she took additional pictures and she answered my endless questions. When I finally decided to make the trip to see it in person they let me test drive the car (which I was surprised to learn many other stores won't actually let you drive the car first before you drive it. Crazy!) They gave me the inspection on the car and even let me take it to a private mechanic just for me to be 100% sure. I can't imagine better customer service, and I truly think this is because they are a smaller, family store. My kids actually loved it there. They spoiled them with chips and juice and you could tell they actually CARED about my family. Even my little kids picked up on this and commented several times how much they liked it there and how nice everyone was. They made purchasing and trading in my car easy and seamless- and QUICK. Bill felt like family and really couldn't have been kinder. We love our new car and really loved our experience at Colonial Heights Auto Center. I would not hesitate at all to buy another car there and have already recommended to several friends. If you are on the fence because their hours are more limited on the weekend, my experience is it is definitely worth it. They choose to spend time with their family on weekends because it is something they value...which means they will value YOUR family as well. Highly recommend!

We got a descent deal even though the oil was two quarts low when we checked the next day. Anyhow, we knew what we wanted when we got there. A gal, who we figured out worked there...she never introduced herself and was rather abrupt. We felt we were sort of bothering her. I still don't know if she was a salesperson or a clerk or what. Finally inside to get keys to test drive it I had to introduce myself to her. She sits at this high walled desk in the showroom—you can hardly see her. Again, we were feeling like she possibly had something better to do. She never said a word about the car, the features, if it drove well, she didn't ask anything. Honestly I still have no idea what she does for the place. We were the only ones in the showroom going to purchase anything. It was bizarre. Some other man yelled over about the interest rates on their in house financing. No clue who he was either. It was the strangest car purchase experience ever. Then the paperwork for the purchase was done and that was that. Thank god the car worked out. The place desperately needs to work on professional salesmanship.

Who closes a dealership on Saturdays, but leaves the doors unlocked & open. And a teenager had to tell somebody I was there & he came back and said we are closed.. Where was the owner & why didn't they come talk to me? Unprofessional!!

Had a great first time car buying experience here. Salesman stayed late so we could arrive from Norfolk after business hours. Paperwork was mailed as promised in a timely manner. Vehicle was in good condition, just as described in ad.
