Rude teller. Did not descalated an upset customerLeft her area when she invited to the in person window. I returned to the waiting line until called me again. No apology. She lied when we duscussed her abrupt departure from her window. Unprofessional! She needs more customer service training. Other customers noticed her behavior towards other customers. We had plenty of time to observe her behavior. Waited too long in line to cash a check.

At one point in time, Bank of America was the best bank in the Virginia area. That is no longer the case. I waited nearly 45 minutes today to cash a check. The teller was rather dismissive and simply stated I should’ve just used the ATM when I advised that they really could use some more tellers. Two of the teller windows at this location of permanently closed & only two tellers were on today and a new one who was in training who was being helped by 1 of those 2 tellers. The line was going out the door!! Such a shame what has happened to A once great Bank. I believe it is time I switch my money elsewhere.

I usually do all my banking online but when I had to open accounts for my kids, we had to go to the bank. The website made it so easy to make an appointment with a banker. Kayla Burget made it such an easy process! She walked us thru everything step by step, made sure we didn't have any questions unanswered and even made sure they were able to access everything using the app. When we were done, she didn't just shove us aside to make way for the next customer, she walked us out! Kayla was a super star, Bank of America is lucky to have her on their team!

My husband and I opened a business account with Bank of America with the help of Kayla Burget. She has been a big help navigating online banking and is always available to help us via phone or email. She is the greatest. I highly recommend Bank of America.

I went in to this branch today to make a withdrawal the associates were extremely helpful with a long line. One associate Kayla went out of her way to show me how to use the atm, even though it was extremely cold outside.

Bank of America first closed all their drive thru windows. Then they closed the only branch in Hopewell. I have been to the Colonial Heights branch 2 days in a row and they are closed. Not to mention they have shortened their business hours. I DO NOT recommend this financial institution to anyone, especially a business. They deserve no stars, but that isn't an option.

Went to cash a valid check as always, misplaced my actual ID "card" and been handing them my VALID paper license until my actual card arrived. Have been able to cash it this way before but "manager" claimed my VALID ID is expired (it doesn't expire until 2025) and even though I corrected her about the date and the fact my ID is valid they still refused to do what any other bank would do. Never even bothered to ask if I had another form of ID; which I did but of course professionalism is clearly not their priority.

I'm not a fan of banks, but this branch was pretty good. I didn't have to wait for an appointment, even with the fake pandemic. I was able to add others to my account and, open another account, in about 10 minutes. And, the tellers and workers were actually nice. Treated us as though we are important. BofA isn't usually this good, so if you're in the Richmond VA area and have a deep desire to partake in banking activities, I would recommend this branch.

Absolutely worst experience today with the security person outside the bank today. He has no manners on how to speak and talk to customers. I am changing all our business and personal accounts from this bank and going somewhere local where they already know lessons of customer service. I was with Bank of America for past 14 years, changing it now. Every Saturday I go to this location and this security person that is outside seems like he is using his authority in a way he is not suppose to be using and has zero communication skills. He does not understand that this is not his family business that he represents, he is representing a corporate business and he should learn his manners and some communication skills and then find a decent job. I would urge Bank of America to provide free lessons on communications and how to behave with customers that are waiting in lines outside the bank and following all the COVID-19 protocols.I had never had any bad experience with any other locations at Bank of America, it is this location that has forced me to look for another bank. My business is across the street from them, I do not want to change all my accounts, but this rude and abusing security person that works at the bank is making me change my bank

It is absolutely impossible to get an associate to actually answer the phone. I have had to call the bank on several different occasions for different issues that could have been addressed via phone calls. But unfortunately BOA makes a simple inquiry become a headache because of their inability to train/require their employees to answer the phones. This is solely due to poor management. You are only as strong as your weakest link and BOA has an abundance of weak links.
