Excellent location. Walk out the door and you're at the beach.Room was as expected for a tourist town. Room was clean enough to be acceptable. Bed was not very comfortable. There was a foam cover on the mattress. Staff was courteous. Hotel grounds were clean with beautiful flowers planted all over.My only complaint is that while there was a small handful of guest the room next to us had new guests come in when they could have been placed a door down from us.Nearby activities: Not many activities in the off season.Walkability: Short walk to the beach and boardwalk.

It was nice to spend a relaxing long weekend in a clean place next to the ocean, close to the good restaurants, ice cream shop, etc.

This place doesn't even deserve one star! Not only did we have to cut our stay short due to me getting an eye infection from the bacteria in the pool, but since coming home the end of July, we discovered that we brought bedbugs home with us. So now we need to spend $1500.00 to have our home exterminated! I would never recommend this place to anyone!

Exactly what you'd expect from a small, locally owned motel in a sleepy little beach town. Right on the beach, with friendly, helpful staff, free breakfast, and a pool if the jellyfish are in. It's a little old but it's clear the new owners are working to slowly turn everything over. Fridge and microwave in room was a huge bonus for our family.Rooms: King room was spacious for our service animal and kiddo on a cot. Microwave and fridge, plus coffee pot if you can't wait for the free breakfast.Nearby activities: Right off the boardwalk, which takes you to all 3 beaches plus shops and restaurants.Walkability: Pretty much the whole town is walkable if you're fit. It's a "golf cart" community, so traffic wasn't terrible.Food & drinks: Not a ton of options but they were all tasty and fun, even the water ice cart!Noteworthy details: It was obvious that parts of our room had been renovated, but other parts were still dated. We have a service dog and they were very polite and accommodating even though they've had issues with large breed pets in the past.

Cleaning lady started rushing us off as soon as we woke up. Complained about my dog, that we paid for to be there. Refered to a member of my party as a "fat b#$@h with her "n" word kids".She also pulled a razor out as if to threaten my daughter in law, because she voiced her displeasure. When the owner was informed, there was nothing but denial and gas lighting. My kids grew up in this town. This hotel is a blemish not a blessing

The office staff was courteous and extremely helpful. The room was not up to my standards of cleanliness. There were M&M's, hair and dead bugs on the floor. The comforter had not been washed and smelled of urine. After thoroughly bleaching the bathroom, mopping the floor, spraying the room and removing the comforter I made the best of the 2 days. I think if the housekeeper on the 1st floor does less complaining and more cleaning, your facility would be worth the $200 + per night.

Decent hotel room with a nice view. Staff was great! The continental breakfast was a little weird, I get what they were going for but the implementation could have been better. All in all we had a great stay.

Rooms are clean and nice . The lamps had some rust, and some paint was the door jams, but overall it a nice place to stay.

Great location right on the water. Beautiful views. Solid shower, which is necessary for getting that sand out of nether-places.If you are someone looking for any sort of amenities, this is not the hotel for you. The ice machine is broken (it was broken the last time we came too), the signal is so weak that Wifo devices hardly function, if at all. We are in a room directly above the main office and the signal here is basically non-existent. It isnt an expensive fix to invest in wireless mesh. If you advertise free in-room WiFi, there is a certain expectation that you are woefully missing.Again, if you're looking for a no-frills place right on the water, this is a great spot to be.Rooms: Ugly rooms with cheetah print curtains and doo-doo brown comforters on the bed and very old grey carpet that looks like it came from an office building. I understand they shouldnt spend much on the carpet as this place is right by the beach. Durability matters more than aesthetics. But hideous.

I have been coming to this hotel for the last 17 years. It was previously owned by a nice older couple, but has changed hands. We stayed 2 nights. The room was clean and comfortable and they had a mini fridge and a microwave. It seemed however, that the new management was cutting corners to try to save money. The ice machine was broken and there were no plans to fix it. The cleaning lady was running around asking if anyone could give up their complimentary soap and shampoo because they were running so low. The next day she went from room to room asking the guests if they had any clean towels they weren't going to use because they were almost out of those. The pool there is very nice and there used to be large umbrellas there to provide guests shade while sitting at the pool. Those unfortunately have been removed. They still provide a complimentary breakfast, but the pickings are slim.
